Before You Go

It took a few weeks for you to recover from your injuries and in that time the missing boys had not turned up as far as any of you knew.

November passed by quickly with homework, Quidditch practise (for the boys) and nights spent as a group in the common room.

December was the quickest month yet. You had gotten everyone's Christmas presents early this year as there was so much to buy and even helped Draco with his (once you convinced him that he has to actually buy gifts for people).

There was only a few days left before the holidays and you were trying to spend as much time with Draco as possible before the break. He was still set on you visiting and had even asked Blaise to come as well for Christmas dinner, which you were looking forward to.

One the eve before he was set to leave, Draco had told you to meet him in the Room of Requirement at 6pm. You had no idea what for but you decided to bring his Christmas present with you just in case.

As everyone else headed off to the Great Hall, you headed off to the 7th floor. You can hear scuffling inside the ROR as you approach and you press your ear to the door.

"Bollocks!" you hear Draco curse.

You give a giggle and open the door to the room. You see Draco bent over a small coffee holding his thumb between his teeth.

"You ok there?"

Draco jumped and spun around. "Evee! You scared me."

"Sorry were you expecting someone else? Because I can leave!" You turn around pretending to head to the door again when Draco runs to you, twirling you around and kissing you.

"Of course this is for you. Another girl? Are you daft?"

"It could have been a boy. I mean you and Blaise have a bromance thing going on."

"You leave Blaise out of this. What we have is...magical." He throws his had back laughing.

"So is this what I am here for? To talk about your bromance? Charming."

"Haha...no! I wanted to spend my last night here before I head home for the holidays. So I paid the house elves to make us some food and I have butterbeer and I even managed to get a Christmas tree."

He moves aside and you take in the room around you. There was a Christmas tree by the fireplace complete with twinkling lights and baubles. The small coffee table in the middle of the room was covered in every sort of food and dessert you could want.

There are cushions surrounding the table for us to sit on and the couch has a fluffy blanket and cushions on making it seem extra cosy.

"It's amazing. You did all this for me?"

"I would do anything for you Evee. Come on let's eat."

He takes your hand and you sit down on the red cushion on the floor. Draco knowing your favourite food is fajitas has asked the elves to make it specially. It was a family favourite in your house. Your mum used to make it all the time and before Draco had ever visited your home, he had never tired it before.

Actually there were loads of foods Draco hadn't tried. Being a Pureblood family usually meant that you were limited to the cultures you experienced. There would be no foreign foods in the house. Actually the only exception for would be wine, obviously.

Your family were very different. Your mum and dad had travelled the world after leaving Hogwarts and as a result had very broad palette for food. Draco was astounded when he tried Chinese food at your home one evening and even more so when he tried Indian.
