The next few weeks were very routine. You were walked through the Ministry like a celebrity with people surrounding you. You now shared your front office with Draco and Harry. Oakley was alway on high alert when she was with you, waiting for another attacker.
Lunch was taken in your office with either Harry, Draco, Luna or Hermione grabbing it.
Daniel was let go and even came back to work but he avoided you at all costs still ashamed that he allowed himself to be cursed and nearly killed you. That and he was terrified of Draco.
You were guarded heading home as well by Aurors. Most of the time Jonathan was with them. Draco and Harry had become your bodyguards as such.
You were never alone and you hated it.
In the middle of October you had the girls over for Daphne to try on her wedding dress. Bailey had made afternoon tea in the conservatory and the boys had been banished to Harry's for the day so you could have the time together.
You, Luna and Andromeda (Narcissa) were at the gates ready to greet your guests. Pansy was the first one to arrive and brought Angelina with her. Ginny and Hermione arrived not to long after that. Last to arrive was Daphne, with Astroia. Mrs Nott was invited but she wasn't exactly a big fan of muggleborns or those she classified as blood traitors so Ginny and Andromeda she wasn't too keen on. Hermione she pretended didnt exist and you she simply tolerated. The new Mrs Greengrass also wasn't invited apparently.
"Thank you for doing this for us Evee," Daphne said as she hugged you.
"You are more than welcome. I just hope you like the dress."
"Hello Evee," Astoria said nervously standing behind her sister.
Andromeda (Narcissa) did not look too pleased to see the young girl. Mostly because you had told her what Astoria said about Narcissa writing to her before she 'died'. You now know that it was a lie.
"Hi Tori. I am glad you were able to get out of school to come for the day."
"Yeah McGonagall was very nice about it. I have to be back before 6pm though."
"Well welcome to our home," you smile.
You set off and guide the ladies into the house and through to the conservatory which Narcissa has decorated with balloons, banners just like a bridal shower would be.
"Daphne, this is your day. Would you rather have tea first and then try on the dress or try the dress on first?"
She clapped her hands together in excitement. "Oh dress first!"
"Ladies, take a seat and Daphne and I will be back in a second."
The only thing Daphne had asked was to have it off the shoulder and plain. You knew she wanted to look like a real princess so you designed a satin gown with a criss-cross off the shoulder bodice and a plain full satin skirt that sat out and to the floor.
