Even More Surprises

The following morning was busy doing last minute touch ups to Theo and Daphne's outfits as well as tea with Pansy and Ron when they came to pick up her dress. Then Ginny stopped by asking for alterations to her dress and of course you then had a full conversation with her hearing about her training and game highlights from the last few weeks.

It was difficult keeping a secret this big from your friends. It was hard not to shout it from the rooftops actually. At one point you thought Ron suspected something as you found yourself gagging when he stood too close. He was brewing more 'love potion' and the smell of orange blossom was bloody strong and making you feel sick.

It was after lunch before Blaise and Luna arrived. Of course you told them that you had let slip the nature of your condition to Draco. Neither were pleased with his response.

"What a little bollocks!" Blaise complained.

"I think I overwhelmed him a little." You shrugged.

"Overwhelmed...and you weren't?"

"I have had more time to process."

"He is still an asshole!"

"Who is?" Jonathan says stepping out of the fireplace.

You jump up and rush to hug him. "I have missed you!"

"I am sorry it has been crazy busy with work."

"But Harry and Draco haven't been busy since their last case."

"This is more a personal project."

"Ok – apologies." Knowing that you shouldn't press him on anything personal.

"No I could actually use your help," he confessed.

"We will go and let you two speak," Blaise offered as he stood up and turned to help Luna who smiled warmly at him.

They both smiled and waved before heading to the door. They only lived about a 10 minute walk from your house and Luna found that using the Floo or Apparating made her morning sickness worse so for the time being she is trying not to use them unless really necessary.

Once you had seen them both to the door you turned to Jonathan. "Alright Jay you have my full, undivided attention."

"Sorry we are late," Narcissa smiled as she and Draco stepped into the living room. "This one has been agitated all day but won't tell his own mother what is going on."

Draco looks at you guiltily.

"It is good to see you Narcissa," you hug her and simply smile awkwardly at Draco which does not go unnoticed by either Narcissa or Jonathan.

"Now that you are both here kids we have something to tell you."

"We are getting married," Narcissa blurted out.

"Oh my Merlin, Congratulations!" You pull them both into a hug. Narcissa holds up her left hand to show her engagement ring. "Wow! It is beautiful. I am so happy for you."

"We want to have just a very small and intimate ceremony as we have both done this before and feel we are too old for an elaborate affair. Just our little family and a few friends." Jonathan explained.

"Is this what you have been working on?" you ask Jonathan smiling.

"What? Oh well yes but that is not what I was talking about. I want your help Evee. I want to find my daughter," he waited for your reaction.

You beamed. "Ok and how can I help?"

"I just need someone to go with me when I do find her. I need you and Draco to help Cissy and I try to locate her."
