Wedding Prep

You wake up after the best night's sleep you have had in a long time. Remembering back to last night with Draco. The passion between you both. It was intense. You grin to yourself before turning around to say good morning.

But the other side of the bed is empty.

You sit up now as your eyesight properly comes into focus. You check your watch to see that it is 6.30am. The bed is cold. He obviously didn't stay the night.

You feel like an idiot. What did you do? Draco obviously regretted what happened between you which is why he took off. You slam your fist into the pillow Oh Evee what have you done? You have made it even more awkward between the two of you. You bloody fool!

You can't get the idea out of your head. Thankfully you are off work for the rest of the week to help prepare for the wedding.

It is Wednesday now and the wedding is Friday. You had promised Daphne that you would help set up the venue. It was the last thing you wanted to do but you made a promise and you were sticking to it.

You quickly ate breakfast and just as you were putting the dishes back into the cupboard you heard a commotion coming from the living room.

"Hello?" Daphne sings as she walks into the kitchen.

"Hello beautiful," you smile.

"Well obviously she is talking about me," Theo smirks as he walks in followed by....Draco who keeps his head down. Merlin give you strength.

"Evee you are a saint for helping us. Pansy and Ron were supposed to help out but George is sick so they had to go into work. Luna and Blaise had to go and see his family and Hermione is away to pick up Ginny and Phoenix and Harry is doing paperwork so he can have the rest of the week off."

"I don't mind at all."

"Well we have loads to do so best to get started. First we need to head to Greengrass manor to pick up Astoria and her partner."

"We are going to your house? Will your step mum and father be there?" You suddenly grow nervous.

You had not seen Mr & Mrs Greengrass since your time at Malfoy Manor. Although both had tried to save you, they were still a part of the scheme that was made to destroy you. You didn't know if you could visit their home as if nothing happened.

"Em yeah I would imagine so." Daphne looks confused and then gasps as realisation dawns on her. "I am sorry Evee you don't have to go if it makes you uncomfortable."

It did. It really did. But for some reason you found yourself saying. "No no it is fine."

"Oh I am glad. I know that Heather is looking forward to seeing you."

"Right, should we get going?" Theo asked.

"Yeah sooner we get started the sooner we will be finished," Draco muttered. You suppose he didn't want to have to spend more time with you than was necessary. You give a sigh, which he notices.

You all head back into the living room. Theo and Daphne step into the fireplace together and shout out "Greengrass Manor" before disappearing in green flames.

"You go next and I will follow behind," Draco mumbles pointing ahead of him.

"Draco I am not going to bloody bite you," you roll your eyes and step into the fireplace.

"I never said you were!"

"But you are afraid to stand beside me in the fireplace?"

"I...I mean...aw just forget it." He steps in beside you and grabs your elbow. "Greengrass Manor" he shouts as you begin to move. When you blink you can see the grand living room of Daphne's home. You step out as Draco follows behind you. You stop just by the fireplace. Standing watching you are Daphne and Theo and Mr & Mrs Greengrass.
