The first week went by quickly. Settling into classes and getting used to our new living quarters and roommates. Each of the students from the different houses were quite shy to begin with. Not really knowing the others. It was really Harry, Luna and you who brought everyone together.

The first night after lessons found Harry teaching you and Luna to play charades. It was comical to watch in itself but the fact that three different houses could come together gave hope to the others.

By the end of the week the walls, which were once built up around the groups of students, had been broken down and everyone was mingling with everyone.

"Let's have a party this weekend," Pansy shouted bouncing into the common room.

"Oh yes! Lets!" answered Ginny.

Hermione made a mumbling noise and Ron rolled his eyes. "C'mon Mione. It could be fun. A chance to get to know everyone."

"I am up for that," you smile leaning your head on Draco.

"Good! Luna and I will order food from Hogsmeade." Pansy began planning. "Theo? Where is he?"

"I am right behind you Pans."

"Oh yes there you are – Firewhiskey?"

"I would love some!"

"No idiot can you get some?"

"Of course!"

"Me too. I can help you Nott." Seamus said coming to stand beside him and nudging him in a friendly manner.

"Brilliant! You two are in charge of alcohol. Blaise? Music?"

"On it! Daph want to help?"

"Yes she does. Evee and Neville can you make sure everyone knows about the party?"

"What can I do to help?" Hermione asked.

"Decorations?"

"Oh yes I bet I can get my hands on a disco ball and lights."

"A what?"

"Never mind. Harry can you help me. You know what they are?"

"Eh..yeah...I can help."

"I'll help too." Dean offered.

"Perfect! So everyone has his or her jobs to do. Get to it."

"You forgot me!" Draco pouted.

"No I didn't. You will do whatever Evee is doing anyway. You two are inseparable."

Draco just chuckled as he pulled you onto his lap and continued reading while playing with the hem of your skirt.

By the night of the party, the whole common rom was buzzing. Hermione true to her word had managed to get her hands on disco lights and they were strung up around the corners of the room.

Harry and Dean had managed to bewitch the ceiling to look like spotlights. They had a table set up with food and another two which Theo and Seamus had filled with alcohol and cups.

There was enough food to feed the entire castle and everything looked delicious from cheeseboards to bite size pastries and sweets and treats.

At 8pm I left Draco to head up to my room to get ready. I opened the door to her music blaring as Pansy and Daphne where holding dresses up to them to see which they would wear.

"Where have you been? The others will be here any minute." Daphne shrieked.

"Others?"

Pansy rolled her eyes. "Daph invited Ginny, Luna and Granger to get ready here."
