Stepping into your living room, you sit on the couch and immediately take off your heels as your feet feel like they were on fire.

"It was a lovely ceremony, wasn't it?" Luna yawns.

"It was. My feet are danced off me," you giggle.

"Yeah, well tell your boyfriend that the next time he gets jealous, to speak to you himself," Blaise huffs.

"Sorry? What are you talking about?"

"He didn't like you dancing with that fella, so me sent me to break it up."

"Are you kidding me? He spent most of the reception with his ex, and he is jealous I dance with a guy for 60 seconds?"

"Hey, don't shoot the messenger!"

"Where is Draco anyway?"

"He is with...em well he is...uh with Astoria I think."

"Double standards."

"Do you want us to stay with you?" Blaise offers.

"Thank you, but I am fine. Get your girl home and into bed. I will see you both later."

Blaise leans in and kisses your forehead, and Luna hugs you before heading back into the fireplace and home."

You stand to head up to bed as a wave of nausea hits you. Swaying slightly, you call Poppy who appears in her nightdress.

"How can I help Evee?"

"Sorry if I woke you, Poppy. I'm feeling a little dizzy. Think you could help me to bed?"

"Oh Miss Evee. Of course Poppy will."

She takes your hand and snaps her fingers, apparating you both to your room. She pulls back the covers as you climb in.

Mack pops in then with a glass of water, a bowl, and a cloth along with a box.

"Mack is getting you crackers to settle your stomach Evee," he smiles, passing everything to Poppy.

"Thank you," you manage between yawns.

Poppy hands you a cracker and water as she soaks the cloth and places it on your head.

"You has a cold I think, Miss. Definitely a fever."

"Just my luck," you mutter as Poppy adjusts the cloth. It feels great on your skin.

You hadn't realised how exhausted you were, but it didn't take long for you to drift off to sleep.

The same usual nightmare of the night in the cellar plays in your mind as you toss and turn.

You replay everything and can actually smell the stench of the mattress and Simon's breath.

Lucius enters your dream with his whip, cracking it over your back.

You jolt awake, screaming. Gasping for breath, you can feel your chest tightening. Tears pool out of your eyes as you try to calm yourself down.

Nothing seems to be working. You pull your knees up to your chest and try to distract your thoughts. You can't stop the panic attack that takes over your body, but you try to minimise it as best you can.

After about 15 minutes, your breathing levels out, and it takes a few seconds for your eyesight to adjust and to remember where you are.

You check the time on your phone. 4.45am.

Even if you could go back to sleep, you were too afraid to. The dreams were becoming more vivid and real. Catching your breath, your head begins to pound and your palms sweat.
