You awake the next morning in a bed with co clue how you got there. Binx is curled up and your feet and you can see your trunk and things have all appeared. You shower, brush your teeth and hair and get dressed. You are not sure if you can face seeing everyone after last night. You grab an apple from the fruit bowl on the small desk in the common room.

Your first class is Herbology so you decide to head there instead of heading to the Great Hall where you won't have to deal with people. You make your way outside to the ground and down to the greenhouses.

You hear whistling from inside. You should have known you wouldn't be alone. You open the door and step in to see someone bent over a plant whistling to it. "Hello?" you ask as you move around the room.

Someone jumps up and bangs their head on a hanging watering can above them. "Ouch! Crap!" Neville shouts as he rubs his head.

"Oh I am sorry Neville. Are you ok?"

"Oh Evee. Hey! Yeah I am fine. I always bang my head on that thing."

"Maybe you should move it?"

"Oh...yeah...I never actually thought of that. It would save a lot of headaches." He laughs as he flicks his wand and the can throws itself over your head, causing you to duck and it smashes against the far wall.

"Shit...sorry."

"Ha-ha never worry. It is fine. So how come you are here this early?"

"Oh I wanted to water the plants and it gives me a chance to finally plant the seeds you got me for that new plant species. By the way it was one of the best Christmas presents I received. Thank you so much!"

"It was my pleasure. Thank you for the sweets. You know I have a real sweet tooth so it's the perfect gift for me."

"So why are you out here?"

"Avoiding the inevitable?"

"Yeah I heard about you and Draco. And I know that Pansy and Daphne basically attacked you. I assume that is what the black eye and cut lip are about?"

"They were angry and drunk. They were protecting Astoria, thinking I had hurt her. It makes sense that they would lash out."

"It doesn't matter if you bloody spat in that girls face. Nothing makes what they did to you ok."

"Honest Neville. It's fine. I have moved rooms and I am moving on. Fresh start and all that. It may be-"

"Evee!" Hermione shouts as she runs up to you and pulls you in for a hug. "Are you ok? Where did you go? I am so sorry that we weren't there to stick up for you. I feel awful."

You hug Hermione back. She had nothing to do with what happened. At least you had a friend still. "Thanks Mione. I am fine though. No need to worry."

"I waited up for you in the common room and-"

"Yeah I don't live there anymore. I moved and I am enjoying the quiet. I have had enough drama to last a lifetime."

"Evee, about what they said-"

You take a step back and raise your hands. "Hermione, stop! Please. I...I can't talk about it. Please."

"But Evee-"

"Hermione STOP!"

Hermione looks you in the eyes but it is as if she can't see your pain. Like she is trying to understand but can't. It makes you feel bad. Like you are in the wrong. But you are not ready to feel that yet. You are not ready to talk about it or get over it.

Not yet.

"Come on Evee. I need a lab partner to help me with Professor Sprout's exercise today. Wanna help me?"
