At Night, children were playing games in the society compound, men were talking about organizing sports competitions for both the kids and adults during summer vacation, and women were sharing the hot news about neighbors or their relatives. Everyone was occupied with some or other things, but still, something distracted Naina while playing tennis. She saw the Rude-Man sitting comfortably on the recliner chair, and gazing at girls except her.
"Kisko dekh rahi hai tu?" Sonali came to enquire.
"Nothing...chal Ice Cream kha kar aate hai," Naina suggested.
"Aai allow karegi?" Radhika looked confused.
"Haan kyu nahi...yahi paas me hi toh hai, aur abhi sirf 10 baje hai," Aditya assured the worried girls with a casual smile.
"Main nahi aaugi, mujhe Aai ne Ice Cream khane se mana kiya hai," Sonali said with a crestfallen face.
"Kyun?" The trio asked her apprehensively.
"Kya pata...ek hafte pehle mujhe zukham hua tha shayad isliye." Sonali justified the reason for being forbidden from eating the delicious-sweet-strawberry Ice Cream.
"Oh, acha, toh fir hum bhi nahi jayege...jab tu theek ho jayegi fir sab saath khayege Ice Cream," Naina spoke with a sweet smile and embraced her childhood friend.
"Tum log kyu apna mood kharab kar rahe ho...main theek hi hoon, par Aai ko lagta hai mujhe fir zukham ho jayega agar kuch thanda kha liya toh isliye I'll need to follow her strict diet for one more week." Sonali expressed her distress with her best friends, and They could easily understand her feelings. Ice Cream is such a thing which can make even an elder crave for it like a six-year-old kid, the softness of Vanilla, the delicious bitterness of Dark Chocolate, the sweetness of Strawberry, the milkiness of Kesar Pista...the Fruit taste...the crunchy chips in butterscotch. Every flavor in Ice Cream is heart-stealing and irresistible.
"Radz...tujhe dekhna tha na subah Naina kiske saath timepass kar rahi thi. Look up, the guy is standing there." Aditya apprised his bestie with a lopsided smile, and Naina shot an instant glare at him for mentioning that Rude-Man.
Radhika and Sonali were quick enough to raise their eyes towards the particular direction Aditya pointed at, and the Tall guy with an enchanting personality stunned them...even in the tenebrous atmosphere, He looked so charming and pleasing to the eye. They couldn't stop gazing at his fluffy hair which fell upon his intense eyes. Naina discerned that her girl-friends had forgotten their disciplines for this Oh-So-Good-Looking Boy. She slapped them on their heads in frustration, and They both veered to look at her in rage for breaking their beautiful moment with the new boy. He probably didn't even notice how many dreamy eyes of girls were lingering upon him from a distance.
"Yeh kya kar rahi thi tum dono?" Naina asked them in exasperation.
"Kya? We were just enjoying the charming sight." Radhika said with a flirting smile.
"He's not charming at all." Naina corrected her dimwit best friend with pursed lips.
"Hatt...itna toh handsome banda hai yaar, I was right. Akdu ladke really bahut mast dikhte hai." Sonali spoke with an excited smile, making Aditya feel a little bad.
"We will try to befriend him," Radhika suggested, with a lopsided smile.
"What?" Naina almost lost her sanity when her best friend gave such a bad idea.
"Kya hai ab tujhe? Didn't you read that famous quote? We shouldn't judge a book by its cover, the same goes for this charming-looking man. Maybe woh akdu na ho, but tujhe laga ho...let's try our luck with him. Friend bhi ban jaye toh bhi chalega." Radhika said with a ray of firm hope dancing in her glittering eyes, and Aditya just chuckled.
