Anger, frustration, hurt, pain, distress, and helplessness grew furiously in her heart. She wanted to help Sameer but also didn't have any idea how to do that...she didn't know who the hell was the owner of his home who decided to kick him and his mother on one person's false statement. She wished she could take the help of her mother as she is an advocate and would have pretty knowledge about legal matters. However, if the owner himself claims that he doesn't wish to keep these people in his home then no law can stop him from doing that.

Naina kept walking back and forth in vexation while clutching her pinky finger tightly, and her head was ready to explode. A bundle of things was going around her mind but at this moment all she needed was assurance that Sameer wouldn't vacate the home, or at least wouldn't leave this society. She can't imagine how haunting the terrace would get if they'd stop meeting there even if accidentally, at least there were low chances of them seeing each other on some stupid pretext. She annoyingly twisted the ring on her finger while tormenting her lower lip, and suddenly something glinted her stressful face. She rushed to call her best friend, her sukh-dukh-ki-saathi aka Radhika and hopefully waited for her positive response.

"Hello?" Radhika's sleepy voice greeted her ears, and Naina pitied her friend for ruining her slumber.

"Hi, radz neend se ache se uth jaa na thodi der ke liye." Naina requested her in a meek tone.

"Hmm, say?" She responded to her in a low voice, her head falling on the pillow.

"Tu sun rahi haina?" Naina confirmed.

"Haan behen bolna," Radhika said annoyingly.

"Ok, toh tera is society me ek ghar khali haina itne dino se?" Naina asked her with a nervous expression.

"Hmm, tujhe aana hai rehne?" She questioned.

"Nahi, sameer ko aana hai," Naina said hurriedly.

"Ok!" Radhika replied without acknowledging her friend's words.

"Kya Ok?" Naina exclaimed vexedly.

"No-Kay," Radhika uttered, in a drowsy tone, shutting her eyes in response.

"Chod, tujhse kal subah hi baat karugi," Naina said with a miffed face.

"Better, goody goody night." She replied to her with a big fat smile on her face and kept her phone on the table.

"Uff yeh Radhika itni kumbhkaran kaise nikli kya pata...sone me toh isne PhD kar rakhi hai," Naina mumbled with an infuriated face and looked up at the ceiling fan in strain.

"Please Bappa sab theek kardo jald se jald." She prayed to God with dew drops in her closed eyes.

• Next Day In The Morning

Radhika was sleeping even in the ongoing class which caused many girls and boys to giggle. The professor was seeing how his students' attention was drifting to one specific girl who had no care about the world. He silently came and stood before her bench, looking at her with a calm expression, and now everyone's smile vanished as they knew what was going to happen. Professor Mr.RajKumar Shirodkar lovingly patted Radhika's head, and asked her gently - "Beta, tumhe neend aa rahi hai na?"

"Yes sir." She replied to him with closed eyes, snuggling more with her college bag.

"Jao jake library me so jao aaram se, hmm," Rajkumar said in a soft voice, still caressing her head with his left hand.

"Really?" Radhika asked him sleepily.

"Haan Na, tumhare baba tumhare sone ke liye hi toh yaha itni fees bharte hai, jao jao...soti raho aaram se. Tumhe toh Soneshwari ka degree milna chahiye hai, har roz class me kisi na kisi ke bag par giri huwi milti ho tum." Rajkumar taunted her in a serene tone, and Radhika jerked her head towards his miffed face, rubbing her heavy eyelids in fright. She looked here and there at the shameless students who were stifling their smiles at her poor condition, and Naina gave an unbelievable look to her best friend. Last night too she was in deep slumber, and here too she has been sleeping peacefully. God knows how much sleep is left in her schedule.
