"Kya right wrong chalu hai koi batayega hume?" Phulla asked the girls with a perplexed expression.

"Kuch nahi, aap ignore karo," Naina said with a lighthearted smile, controlling her eagerness to reveal for which purpose Radhika had traveled to her room.

Just then Naina's mobile began to ring noisily, causing a disturbance in the game. She knew she was going to regret the decision of not keeping her cell phone on Silent mode, and as expected, everyone's gaze shifted to her with playfulness coloring their faces.

"Yeh credit card wale bhi na kabhi bhi call karte hai." Naina fakely chuckled while hurriedly disconnecting the call with her thumb.

"Ab tu credit card walo se dil udhar le baithegi toh phone toh aane hi hai." Phulla Bhua teasingly stared at the young girl, widening her eyes at her honest-but-embarrassing remark.

"Kya bol rahi hai aap? Aisa kuch nahi hai." Naina refused to accept that she was receiving calls from Sameer.

"Haa haa dikh raha hai, jaake baat karle hero se...bechara kal raat se tadap raha hoga tujhse milne ke liye." Unaware of Sameer's discreet meeting with Naina last night. Phulla Bhua said with a soft grin.

"Aaj subah tak yahi the humare Ji-Ja-Ji," Sonali said with a wacky smile, and Naina slapped her forehead.

"Hein? Aaj subah tak kya kar raha tha woh yaha?" Colors drained from the grey-haired woman's face when she was regarded with a piece of surprising information, and Naina nearly murdered Sonali with her fatal looks for always making fun of her in front of everyone.

"Arey she meant to say. Sameer toh humesha Naina ke saath hi rehte haina...uske dil me." Ankita quickly mended the mistake intentionally made by Sonali, and Phulla Bhua heaved a sigh of relief.

"Oh acha, toh aise bolo na, kya subah tak yahi tha." Phulla Bhua calmly chided the lawyer girl while shaking her head, and Naina glanced at her sister-in-law, silently giggling.

When the silence fell over the women sitting there. Sonali's cell phone commenced playing a sensual song - "Honton pe bas tera naam hai, tujhe chahna mera kaam hai...tere pyaar main pagal hun main subah o shaam."

Balloon stared at the abashed girl with a look of "Yeh Kya Wahiyaad Gaana Lagaya Hai" and Sonali struggled to press the red button, her heart beating wildly as she could feel several pointed and disappointed eyes at her for using such a seductive ringtone. Naina amusingly looked at her childhood best friend, thinning her lips for an impish grin, and finally, Sonali managed to stop the intimate music buzzing around the hall, and lowered the volume for betterment.

She didn't meet anyone's gaze for a good time, keeping her eyes hooked on the carpet beneath her.

"Humare time ke logo me toh ringtone me bhagwan Ganesha ke gaane hote hai, mann ekdum sukoon se bhar jata hai uske bajne pe," Balloon said with a tight-lipped smile, delivering an indirect taunt at Sonali.

"Yeh yaad hai toh woh bhi bata kaise humare zamane me aurtein itne kilometer chal ke jati thi, khana banane ke liye stove nahin chulhe ka istemal karti thi, khane me sirf roti sabzi khati thi, teri tarah nahi ki jo mila woh sab kuch do." Phulla Bhua tersely looked at her inflated daughter-in-law as she made the poor girl feel more abashed.

Balloon acrimoniously watched her beast mother-in-law insulting her, and the grey-haired woman added further - "Jaise jaise zamana badalta jata hai, log bhi badalte hai, isme koi nayi aur hairan karne wali baat nahi hain."

"Aur waise sach kahu toh yeh gaana mujhe bhi bada pasand hai." Phulla Bhua gave a cheeky smile to the mortified Sonali, and in no time everyone cracked into fits of laughter, loving how flexible this lady was who molded herself according to this overly-progressed generation and accepted the youths growing modernity.
