Mhatre's family was having a balanced breakfast, whilst Pranali was feeding Parisha who was very finicky about food. The little human kept running around the living room while vigorously shaking her head for the cereal, and Pranali helplessly glanced at her husband.

"Prashant, kuch karo is ladki ka, bilkul sunti nahi hai," Pranali said in a miffed tone, plopping her exhausted self on the sofa with an untouched plate of healthy cereal in her hand.

"Pari, come here." Prashant looked at his stubborn princess with a sweet smile, but Parisha refused to come.

"Aap mujhe pakal ke zabardasti khila dode," Parisha said adorably in her babyish voice, and everyone there laughed at her smartness except Pranali.

Being a mother of this cunning child had been quite stressful for her. Parisha never ate anything without making them run behind her for half an hour.

"Pari, babu mere paas bhi nahi aaoge?" Naina asked her niece in a soft voice, and there the little devil melted. She took slow, laggard steps towards her Bhua, and looked at her with a puppy face.

"Kyun nahi khana aapko cereal babu?" Naina stood up from the chair and knelt in front of her cute niece.

"It's very tasteless," Parisha said annoyingly.

"Babu, it's not tasteless, it's very healthy." Naina cupped her smooth chin while looking at her with a gentle smile, but Parisha rigorously shook her head and said - "No, I don't want this...I want tasty food."

"Puri Naina ki copy hai yeh." Sarita commented with a displeased frown marring her aging face, and Naina swerved her head to look at her mother - "Kya aai? Aapko mere me kuch acchai kabhi nahi dikhti?"

"Hogi toh dikhegi na." Prashant sneered at his enraged sister who blessed him with a ravaging look.

"Aaj kal ke bacche kitne sincere aur understanding hote hai, yeh Parisha pata nahi kispe gayi hai, heights of stubbornness," Pranali said with a dubious expression fluttering over her infuriated face.

"Vaini please, pari ka comparison mat karo kisi ke saath. Sab bache alag hote hai." Naina looked at her piqued sister-in-law with a pleading expression and turning back toward gloomy Parisha. She added - "Meri pari toh bahut hi acchi baby hai, haina?" The little girl quickly nodded her head for a yes, and Naina lovingly pecked her cheek, saying - "Toh jao...jake good baby ki tarah cereal kha lo, aur aai ko wrong prove karo ki aap bad baby ho."

Parisha was reluctant to eat vegetable cereal for breakfast, but since the aggression to prove to her mother that she isn't a spoiled brat. The little human walked forward to catch the plastic blue bowl from Pranali's hand and began to eat healthy food while twisting her lips in sheer irritation.

Pranali smiled at her daughter and ruffled her silky brown hair in motherly affection.

"Pali isn't a bad girl," Parisha told her mother with a grumpy cat look, and Pranali affectionately embraced her tiny body in her arms, pampering her little princess with feathery kisses.

"Who said my baby is a bad girl? Meri beti toh sabse acchi bacchi hai." Pranali said in a mellifluous tone while kissing Parisha's soft cheek, and the baby girl grinned profusely.

"Bash Kalo, khane do," Parisha spoke up as her mother wasn't leaving her body and kissing her unstoppably.

Everyone laughed again at Parisha's cute expression on her mother's unconditional love, and Pranali reluctantly let go of her daughter.

Parisha quietly ate vegetable cereal while watching a cartoon on the tv, and Pranali kept caressing her little princess cheek.

"Tu toh badi expert hai bacho ko samjhane me, Naina," Prashant commented while drinking a cup of tea.
