Sameer was silent, waiting for Naina to speak and tell him what is the useful solution she has found to continue their friendship. The pretty-girl hesitantly came ahead while breathing heavily, and meekly rested her palm on his shoulder, saying - "We can talk...though not on calls, but via messages."

"Chatting?" He turned to ask her with a perplexed face, and She nodded.

"Aren't you breaking your baba's promise?" Sameer asked her with a taunting smile.

"No, he told me to not meet you and talk to you in person...but chatting me kya problem hai? At least through that way, we could be in touch." Naina said with an innocent smile and looked at his calm eyes in nervousness.

"Ok!" He uttered, in a low voice.

"Chalega?" She asked him softly.

"Yes...I don't even have any option except accepting your solution." Sameer said while shrugging his shoulders.

"I am sorry, but I am helpless," Naina replied to him with an ashen face.

"Hmmm...it all happened because of me." He accused himself.

"Let bygones be bygones." She said tenderly.

"Ek second, tumhe toh lagi thi na?" Naina asked him as she saw him standing properly without wincing in pain.

"Lol, that was an act to make you talk to me," Sameer said with a simple smile.

"What? Don't you think you're becoming too dramatic?" She questioned while giving a lopsided smile.

"Sangat Ka Asar." He said casually.

"We girls are famous for our dramatic nature, but tum ladke toh cool dudes type hote hona," Naina spoke thoughtfully and her arched eyebrows looked at him in amusement.

"Hey, I am not cool at all...main, main hoon," Sameer said annoyingly.

"Ok! As you say." She replied while giggling.

"Go now, your mom might make a big ruckus if she finds us together." He alerted the careless girl with mock horror, and Naina glared at him but he was certainly right.

"Yeah yeah, as if she has no work other than spying on us," Naina said sarcastically and held her lehenga to walk ahead.

"Filhal toh unka sabse important kaam mujhe tumse door rakhna hai," Sameer replied to her with a disgruntled visage, and The pretty-girl looked back at him sharply before treading out to the venue

"Jo hai woh hai...isme kya." He told himself with pursed lips and strode away.

• Naina and Sarita reached their home at 12:30 Am, and Naina was insanely exhausted from wandering around the huge wedding venue without caring about her poor feet, even her jaw was aching too much because of those artificial smiles she passed to the women in the vicinity. She was moaning in pain while walking toward her bedroom, and Prashant chortled, saying playfully - "Dadi maa ke pair abhi se dard hone lag gaye hai."

"Aap aate toh pata chalta kitna bada ground tha...ghum ghum kar koi bhi thak jayega." Naina replied to him in exasperation and hissed in annoyance.

"Achaaaaaa!" Prashant exclaimed dramatically.

"Sun..." He called his sister once their mother was out of their sight.

"Kya?" She asked him tiredly.

"Give me your earrings," Prashant said nervously.

"What? Yeh kaisa shauk lag gaya hai aapko Dada, you want to wear my earrings?" Naina looked at her elder brother, horrified at the thought that Prashant wanted to try out her ornaments.
