Note : Mehendi is day after haldi, I mistakenly wrote Kal in the last update.

Naina was sitting inside the room, staring at her hands, shoulders, and feet covered with Haldi. It was dry now and itching as well but she couldn't take it off until her mother ask her to do that. She gently ran her fingers on the dried crumbles of turmeric paste and felt goosebumps hugging her skin as she deciphered that this wasn't an ordinary Haldi put on her body. It was the haldi that was applied on Sameer first at his home, then transferred to a bowl for her to cherish. The one which was smeared on his body at the function was just for good photos, otherwise, the real Haldi rasam was already done at his place before coming here.

She faintly smiled while stroking her colored forearms, and thought that soon these hands were going to be filled with Henna which would engrave Sameer's name in between intricate patterns. She would surely tell him to find all the letters of his name to get a reward of a long kiss from his one and only.

Naina gently laughed at her thoughts and saw Radhika walking into her room with a soft smile. She came and sat beside her on the bed, staring at dried haldi on her best friend's soft skin.

"Aaj haldi bhi lag gayi...parsu mehendi lag jayegi, phir sangeet, aur fir shadi. Itne sare function pending hai but I am just waiting for our wedding." Radhika said with a sweet smile while blinking her eyes.

"Same here, especially for pheras and to wear mangalsutra," Naina uttered, in a soft voice, her fingers twirling the resin pendant of her chain.

"I can't believe it's happening for real...bachpan me jab tum sab mil ke mujhe aur adi ko ship karte the mazak me toh i used to feel really weird. Like, us time itni samjh nahi thi toh lagta tha ki tum log humein itna tang kyu karte ho but now I understood how right you guys were." Radhika couldn't help but laugh slightly while raising her head to look at her best friend with a cute smile, and Naina looped her arm around Radhika's shoulder, pressing her head with hers.

"Actually, hum bhi sirf isliye tang karte the because tum log sara din saath saath hi rehte the...aur Adi bas tera kehna manta tha, hum sab toh uske liye invisible ho jatey the. Silly boy...I didn't know woh gadha meri dost se bachpan se itna pyar karte aaya hai, but yeah. I was happy more than you all when I got to know you guys are dating." Naina replied to her with a broad smile and recalled the times when Radhika used to fight baselessly with Aditya and that poor guy would just listen to her quietly. He is such an adorable and sincere guy, and her best friend is unquestionably lucky for getting him as her Life Companion.

Radhika thinned her lips, remembering the days from their childhood which truly might be haunting for Aditya as she used to slap him, kick him, and pull his hair in anger if he mistakenly tried to argue with her. She was very rude to him in the initial days and would quarrel with him without knowing the reason. That's how stupid and ill-mannered she was, yet with his patience and calmness she learned to talk to him nicely and valued his efforts in their friendship and relationship. She knew Aditya wasn't fortunate because he was tying the knot with her. But for sure she was lucky in every manner because she was going to be the wife of that man who never forgot to respect her even in anger.

Smiling at his thoughts. She said in a heavy voice - "Yaar...kabhi kabhi mujhe yakeen nahi hota mujh jaisi itne gussel ladki se us pagal Adi ko itna pyaar ho gaya. Kitna ladti thi main uske saath, uske khilone tod deti thi, uski woh favorite toy gun bhi maine zid me aake ek baar deewar pe fek di thi...lekin phir bhi woh chup chap dekhta tha mujhe. Kuch nahi bolta tha. I still wonder how can I be so lucky, adi jaisa life partner milna bahut badi miracle jaisi baat hai mere liye. I am touched by his love and respect for me."

"Behen we all are lucky...sach kahu toh, tujhe Adi mila, mujhe Sameer, Sonu ko Sagar, Ani ko Anshuman hi milega for sure, Pratu ko Anmol, Anki ko Satvik, Shivi tai ko Aryan Dada, aur obviously Pranali Vaini ko mere bhai jaisa husband. He is dominating, I agree but bahut caring aur loving hai woh, I have seen him taking care of everyone without being selfless. He isn't selfish...he just doesn't know how to express his love for the other person." Naina said with a twinkling smile, knowing well how different her brother is from everyone. Sameer was a carbon copy of Prashant when they met first -- Rude -- Dominating -- Angry Bird -- Inexpressive -- But silently caring for people he loved deeply.
