Naina sat on the bed to reveal the gift her man had bought for her and gently untapped the shiny pink paper. She came across a light brown sheet wrapped around the square-shaped thing to keep it safe, and carefully she unfold it while controlling her bubbling smile.

Her eyes glimmered in glee when she saw their first couple picture together as a couple inserted inside a beautiful resin layer frame. The sides of the thick frame were designed with the colors of an aquarium, sky blue, pastel white, and sea green to give it the look of a wavy ocean. Her gaze slowly rested on the dates imprinted on the glassy texture, it was their First Meeting, the very best meeting of her life. Naina saw two more adorable pictures of them arranged horizontally, with a sweet message tucked above the first one - "Every little moment with you feels like the best moment of my life."

She couldn't help but cry a bit while caressing the frame holding a bunch of memories and infinite love.

In all these years they might have given each other several gifts but this one was profoundly exquisite with a meaningful thought behind it. Naina kissed the photo-frame with closed eyes and fetched her cell phone from the table to thank her boyfriend for pampering her with such lovely presents.

One ring...Two rings...Three rings...

And there she finally heard his masculine voice greeting her soft ears - "Hi Jaan."

"Thank you so much," Naina said in a meek tone as she tried enormously hard to restrain the flow of her tears but tonight they wanted to be released freely out of her dewy eyes.

"You're welcome, pasand aaya tohfa?" Sameer asked her nervously.

"Bahut zyadaaaaaaaa." She emphasized the words with a big grin on her face.

"Really? I am so happy, acha room ki lights off haina?" He asked her to confirm.

"Nahi toh, kyu?" Naina said normally.

"Band kar, aur phir dekh," Sameer told her zestfully, and Naina quickly got up to turn off the main switch.

She walked back to the bed and informed him - "Kuch nahi hua."

"Frame ke peeche jo chota sa wire haina usko pehle kisi bhi charging board par laga." He guided her with calmness in his voice, and Naina promptly plugged the tiny wire into the closest main switch.

She saw the normal-looking frame gradually changing its shade, twinkling and dancing to the tunes of lights.

"Wow!" Naina exclaimed joyfully.

"Haina?" Sameer said with a sweet smile.

"Haa yaar, this is so beautiful, kaash main yeh frame apne side me rakh kar so pati." Naina expressed her sorrow in a meek tone, beholding the stunning piece of frame in her soft hand.

"I can understand, shadi ke baad rakhna," Sameer told her in a husky voice.

"Shadi ke baad mujhe frame ki kya zarurat...tab toh tum hoge na mere paas meri har raat ko khubsurat banane ke liye," Naina replied to him in a raspy voice, and he had to nod his head for her thoughtful answer.

"Main sach me wait nahi kar sakta humari shadi ke liye, yaar kab hoga yeh sab reality me," Sameer spoke with a coating of pain in his voice for not getting married to the love of his life.

"Sach kahu toh kabhi kabhi mujhe bhi lagta hai ki kaash hum married hote...but phir lagta hai ki yahi toh tough aur challenging phase hai humari life ka jahan humein dusro ke behkawe me na aa kar ek dusre ka haath humesha thame rakhna hai. We have to be together, no matter what." Naina said with a sincere smile while stroking the pad of her thumb on their first picture together.
