Naina was sitting in an opulent beauty parlor with her childhood friends. She wanted to get a beautiful haircut and eyebrows done, her hair has become very rough and untextured, and her brows have thickened at the edges. She was on a call with her boyfriend, who had just completed his lectures. She put AirPods in her ears to have a private conversation as she knew Sameer can say anything anytime, and she didn't want to get embarrassed amidst so many unknowns.

"Tum kaha ho? College me dikhai nahi de rahi?" Sameer questioned her restlessly.

"Main bahar hoon," Naina answered.

"Bahar? Acha ok, but kab tak aaogi?" He asked in a soft voice.

"Thodi der lagegi Sameer, main parlour aayi hoon," Naina informed him in a polite tone.

"Parlour? Kyu? Tumhe kya zarurat hai?" Sameer sounded genuinely surprised.

"Kyu nahi zarurat, mere baal kitne kharab hogaye hai...upar se yeh eyebrows bhi itni unshaped hogayi hai," Naina replied to him with a strained expression, making him chuckle.

"Toh kaunse haircut karwane wali ho!" Sameer asked her in a husky voice.

"Kaunse karwau tum batao?" She said happily, and the lady asked her to sit straight and not move her face even for a moment. Naina nodded, following her orders.

"Umm Bob cut?" He suggested.

"What?" Naina screamed, earning a sharp glare from the lady for using her mouth when She was running the thread on her eyebrow.

"Yes, why not. You will look cute like a doll." Sameer said with a sweet smile.

Naina didn't say anything for a while as the trainee was chopping off extra hair from the edges of her brownish eyebrows by stretching the white thread on her reddish sensitive skin, giving them a perfect arched shape. She pressed her moist lips anxiously, her fingers mingled, eyes shut, face sprinkled with the liquid of fresh sweat buds.

Sameer was waiting to hear her, but the silence from her side panicked him - "Naina? Are you there?"

"Yes, I am...wait a minute." Naina somehow managed to reply to him.

He hummed, walking along the campus while thinking of Naina presenting herself tonight on the terrace with a new Haircut. To be honest, he would love to see something new and different in her regular hairstyle, it is not that she didn't look pretty with her old rough hair. Of course, she did, but experimenting with the latest haircut wouldn't be a bad idea though. He smiled at his thought, trudging ahead to approach the tea seller who even served fresh fritters, biscuits, and sandwiches with a cup of warm tea in a mud glass to his customers.

Sameer simply sat down on the occupied bench, waiting for his order, meanwhile, Naina was curbing her painful moans which were caused because of the sharp thread being run through her porcelain skin. She felt warm fluid erupting in her closed eyes, touching her thick lashes. This eyebrow makeup will take her life someday.

"Naina, bolo kuch?" He asked her softly.

Finally, the eyebrows were done now, and Naina looked at herself in the crystal clear mirror, feeling satisfied with the pain she had gone through. She let out a deep breath and responded to her boyfriend - "Sorry I wasn't allowed to move. Anyway, kya kar rahe ho?"

"Chai peene aaya hoon," Sameer replied.

"Akele akele?" Naina teased him, and all the women in the parlor looked at her with strange expressions.
