Sameer lay down his head on the pillow and tried to sleep, but some things were disturbing his mind. He couldn't understand why he was giving so much importance to Naina when he knew she didn't love him back...it was aching him now to just pretend to be her Friend. He can't work on this friendship with diligence, he can't wait for her, he can't let her hurt him every day, but can he live without her? Is it possible to spend his life without Naina's soothing laughter and smile? Obviously NO, but how should he mend the deep cuts in his heart that are giving him nothing but only pain and regret for loving the Pretty-girl.

Naina is a friendly girl, she needs someone as jolly and entertaining as her personality. She wouldn't be able to accept a dull and boring man like him...and He wouldn't even force her for this because he genuinely respects her feelings and decision, but what about his heart? How would he make him understand that he should stay away from Naina and just concentrate on his career right now because Love and Romance are created only for lucky people, and how could he forget he's one of the unluckiest humans surviving in this selfish world.

"No one understands my emotions, thak chuka hoon main dosti ka rishta nibhate nibhate. Those who say ki one side pyaar karne ke baad bhi us insaan ke saath dost reh sakte hai toh it's totally wrong. In reality, it hurts so much...I know Naina doesn't love me, i know...I know everything, but I can't let her stay away from me. Woh meri zarurat ban gayi hai ab, I am so damn addicted to her, and also, I want to let her know Prithvi's reality before making any decision." Sameer thought with a foul visage, and his face was buried in the cushion, trying to seek solace.

"Can I Come In?" Shivangi's gentle voice made him forget all his woes, and He quickly composed himself, looking back at her with a small smile.

"Aapko mere room me aane ke liye permission ki zarurat nahi hai Tai," Sameer said in a soft voice.

"Acha, soya nahi abhi tak?" She asked him meekly while sitting beside him.

"Neend nahi aa rahi hai." He replied to her in a low voice.

"Kyu?" Shivangi questioned, though very well aware of the reason behind his gloominess.

"Aise Hi," Sameer said weakly.

"Sameer, tu kyu apne aap ko hurt kar raha hai ek ladki ke peeche? You should try to forget her, unke saath already humare relation pure kharab ho chuke hai...if someday they find out ki tum dono abhi bhi friendship rakh rahe ho toh bahut kuch ho jayega, shayad woh log hume yaha rehne bhi na de." Shivangi advised her younger brother in a helpless tone, and Sameer was thoroughly shocked to know that his sister was aware of his secret meetings with Naina.

"Aapko kaise pata?" He asked her in surprise.

"Badi behen hoon teri, bachpan se bada kiya hai tujhe maine...itna toh janti hoon ki tu kab sach bol raha hai aur kab jhoot, roz bhala exact time pe tujhe kaise ghar me garmi lagne lagti hai jiske liye tujhe fir upar terrace pe jana padhta hai?" She told him with a lopsided smile, and Sameer was feeling shy and embarrassed as well for his inability to lie to his sister.

"I don't have any problem, but uske gharwalo ko hogi...bahut hogi, so please abhi se distance rakhna shuru kar de Naina ke saath, main nahi chahti ki kuch aur bura ho," Shivangi said with fear in her voice, and Sameer knew she was right, but suddenly ending a friendship with Naina doesn't sound appropriate and sensible. He should take some time before doing so, but wait, wouldn't he lose His First-Ever Best Friend?

"Tai, main aisa kaise kar karu? I love her so much, woh baat alag hai ki woh mujhe sirf apna dost manti hai." Sameer looked at his elder sister with a disappointed visage.
