Naina was looking at everyone packing gifts and sweet boxes for Sameer's relatives, and she wasn't able to explain what she was feeling right now. It was something so unnatural and unreal. She saw her mother and sister-in-law guiding the staff to put decorative items in a separate basket, and her father instructing someone on the call to pick up the special guests tomorrow morning from the station and airport. She calmly stared at them, busy with work, and for the first time, she was free despite having a wedding at home. She walked to her favorite person -- Phulla Bhua, who came this afternoon to have fun at her nephew's daughter's marriage and sat next to her on the sofa, giving a morose smile.

"Kya hua tujhe?" Phulla Bhua asked her in a concerned tone.

"Pata nahi...samjh nahi aa raha kuch, ek taraf itni khushi hai ki finally meri shadi Sameer se hone wali hai, aur dusri taraf darr, dukh, pareshani, confusion, sab feel ho raha hai." Naina expressed her feelings in a discontented tone and rested her head on Phulla Bhua's shoulder.

Phulla Bhua warmly smiled at the young girl experiencing myriad emotions at the same time which mostly all brides feel when their wedding preparations start, and told her thoughtfully - "Beta, isme koi nayi baat nahi hai, yeh waqt hi aisa hota hai...aap chahe shadi apne pyaar se kar rahe ho ya kisi ajnabi se. Darr sabko lagta hai, ghabrahat sabko hoti hai, aisa lagta hai ki kya hum yeh sari nayi zimmedariya sambhal payenge? Kya hum sasural me jake sabka dil jeet payege? Agar humse koi galti hogayi toh? Agar humein logo ko apnane me mushkil huwi toh? Agar waha jake adjust hona difficult hua toh? Yeh Agar Magar sab dimag me ghumte hi rehte hai shadi hone se pehle, aur yeh darr ekdum jayaz hai."

Naina was amused to know that she isn't the only one who goes through a dilemma and neither was she being unreasonably worried and emotional. It was natural and organic to experience before tying the knot, and a part of her unrestive mind was calmed down.

"Aapko bhi aisa hi laga tha shadi se pehle?" Naina asked her with a curious look.

"Beta humare time ladkiyan itna nahi socha karti thi jitna aaj kal ki sochti hai, pehle toh waise bhi mayke me bhi sasural jaise hi rehte the. Meri aai toh mujhe subah 7 baje utha deti thi." Phulla Bhua replied to her with a sweet smile.

"Subah 7 Baje?" Naina gaped at the grey-haired woman in astonishment as her waking-up schedule is thoroughly opposite.

"Haa, aur agar kabhi bhul se bhi main 7:30 baje uth jati thi toh aise badi badi aankhein dikhati thi, uff, soch ke bhi darr lag jata hai aaj bhi." Phulla Bhua said with a disbelieving expression and exhaled.

"Thank God meri aai aisi nahin hai." Naina looked at her with a relaxed smile.

"Aaj kal ki aai itni strict nahi hoti jitni humare time me hua karti thi, hume aaj kal ke bacho jaisi pampering ya attention nahi milti thi...na hi itni freedom...isliye jab humari shadi hoti thi toh hume itna darr nahi lagta tha kyuki mayka bhi sasural se kam nahi hota tha us waqt, waha bhi hum kaam karna sikh jate the kam umra se." Phulla Bhua replied to the girl sitting next to her, and her interest to know what used to happen in their era made her feel happy.

"Wow, achi baat hai...mujhe toh itni freedom mili hai apne mayke me ki ab sasural me jake kya kaise kab karna hai samjh hi nahi aa raha. Sirf sameer aur uski aai hai waha still mujhe itni anxiety ho rahi hai, mere jaise log toh agar joint family me chale gaye ho toh raaton ki neend udd jayegi." Naina spoke with a cute smile donning her lips, and the grey-haired lady gently chuckled at the young girl's assumptions.

"Joint family ka bhi apna alag maza hai agar family wale serials jaise nahi balki ache ho toh." Phulla Bhua said enthusiastically.

"Maybe, main kabhi joint family me rahi nahi hun toh mujhe itni idea nahi hai." Naina looked at her with a soft smile and wondered if she is so perplexed and clueless right now then how restless Sameer would be feeling? Because he is going to bring home a new member and his routine is going to be changed completely. He would share his bedroom, his wardrobe, his bed, and most importantly his life with her, and as much as she knows about boys then it is not easy for them to adapt to a new lifestyle.
