The tangerine tint over the mountains made the view enthralling, and Naina and Sameer grasped how the beautiful night turned into a radiating morning with birds chirping around the horizon. The golden petals stretched over the wide expanse and painted it with a faint shade of light blue...They both watched the vibrant colors of the rainbow revealing more warmth on the clouds and it ignited a fire of heat in the humans.
"You know, first time maine sunrise dekha hai." Naina giggled.
"Haha, yes I know tum late uth thi hona." Sameer teased her.
"Oye, late nahi uth thi meri timing perfect hai." She looked at him sharply.
"Achawwww." He laughed and earned a playful punch on his shoulder.
"Woh dekho, sab pee kar so gaye aur hum puri raat jaag ne ke bawjud bilkul neend me nahi dikh rahe," Naina commented while directing her eyes towards their friends who slept haphazardly on the muddy ground, and Sameer chuckled.
"Woh isliye meri jaan because hum dono ek dusre se baat aur ek dusre ko feel karne me itne engrossed the ki hume maloom hi nahi padha kab Raat se Subah hogayi." Sameer looped his arm around her shoulder, his smile extending wide when He saw Naina slightly nodding her head in response.
"Tumhe pata hai school ke time par mujhe itna gussa aata tha jab aai subah subah daant kar uthati thi. I don't like waking up early but I had no option, bas ek baar yeh studies complete ho jaye...uske baad aaram." Naina said with a relieved smile and recalled all those painful mornings when she was forced to get up early because She needed to go to school.
"Padhai ke baad tum kuch nahi karne wali? Job?" Sameer asked her solemnly.
"I don't think main job kar sakti hoon, mujhe khud se kuch ban kar dikhana hai...and as I said I want to become a Wedding Planner, I'll go for it but uske pehle I need a long much needed breakkkkkk, I'm so fucked up because of studies and projects," Naina replied to him with a frown casting upon her woeful visage, and Sameer gave a flat smile.
"Acha hai." He said normally.
"Hmm, next year tum toh engineer ban jaoge...fir kya plan hai?" She looked at him keenly, her brows stretched up for a perplexed pose.
"Job and what?" Sameer said simply.
"Haan I know that, but yahi karoge na job? Tumhari koi planning toh nahi haina bahar jake kahi job karne ki?" Naina asked him in a stern voice, and his face turned pale in an instant. He blinked his eyes for a few seconds and then replied to her - "I don't know about it if agar koi achi offer aayi toh main jaa bhi sakta hoon. But I'll try my best ki mujhe yahi kahi nearby me job mile."
"Sameer, this isn't fair...tum mujhse door jaoge ek job ke peeche?" Naina said with a disheartened expression, and Sameer swerved his head to look into her eyes that were mildly watery.
He wrapped his rough fingers over her sleek wrist, and tugged his forefinger under her chin, making her look up at him with a crestfallen face. - "Naina, it's not about a job, it's about my career, my future, our future, agar main achi jagah se job kar ke experience lunga toh it'll be good for all of us...I want to secure my future, I want to earn money for my family, for you, and for our future children. Main nahi chahta jis financial instability se main guzra hoon us se mere bache ya tum guzron."
"Baby, main hoon na...hum saath mil kar bhi toh kama sakte haina? And you don't know Wedding Planner is a very lucrative career, ek baar insaan isme set ho jaye fir bahut achi income hai." Naina tried to change his mind, and Sameer lovingly ran his thumb under her eyes where he could feel the dampness of her salty tears.
