Naina had waited for this day so impatiently and enthusiastically. Finally from today, she will be joining college, the dream life for every youngster like her. She couldn't believe she would go to college. She didn't realize when she grew up so old that from crying to visiting the school to smiling continuously to attend the college. Indeed the journey so far had been wondrous, and She was very excited for her First Day In College. She quickly freshened up and took her parents' blessings before leaving the home.
Naina saw Radhika and Sonali waiting for her at the entrance gate, and both of them gave a warm smile to her when they saw her coming toward them. They started to chat while walking to a nearby station to catch a morning train.
"Yaar meko toh believe hi nahi ho raha hai ki hum sab ek hi college me janewale hai," Naina said exuberantly.
"True, I am surprised too but I am happy ki at least now we will be together," Radhika spoke lovingly, and wrapped her arms around her girls.
"By the way...I forgot to tell you ki Prithvi ka college humare college se walking distance pe hai." Sonali said with a poker face, and Naina scolded her - "Tu kyu baar baar uska naam leti hai...I don't like him at all, I just wonder maine use haan bhi kaise bola. The biggest mistake of my life."
"Relax! Subah subah gussa nahi karte warna pura din kharab jata hai." Radhika apprised the angry bird.
"Then don't mention his name," Naina told them in a stern voice.
"Ok ok, cool down janeman...just be happy ki tujhe us swine se aazadi mil gayi," Sonali said with a lopsided smile.
"Yeah, I'm happy only," Naina replied, and soon the train came on the railway track. Everyone rushed to climb up and grab a seat for themselves, and Naina wondered how she would travel with such insane people every day? She understands that they have to leave for their jobs, but that doesn't mean they'll risk their life by hanging slightly outside with the only sole support of the steel chain.
She shook her head in disbelief, and Radhika went inside and found a vacant bench for her two girls. The trio sat together while keeping their college bags on their laps, and Naina was gazing out of the window with a serene smile. She always enjoyed the morning breeze on her face, but also she didn't love waking up early. She was a night owl, who loved to count the stars at midnight and imagine those non-existing scenarios that were never going to happen.
"Yaar main train me travel nahi kar paugi...bahut difficult hai. I'll rather take a taxi." Naina broke the silence between them and said annoyingly.
"Behen jo kaam 10 rupay me ho raha hai uske liye tujhe 50/- rupay kyu barbaad karne hai?" Radhika asked her with a raised eyebrow.
"But this isn't comfortable." She reasoned.
"Why sweetie? We're not boys, and neither we're lesbians." Sonali joked foolishly, on which both Naina and Radhika gave a deathly glare.
"It was a good joke." She said innocently.
"Yeah only for you," Naina remarked.
"Whatever!" Sonali rolled her eyes in response.
"Yeh lipstick ka shade acha haina?" Naina asked her girls while opening the selfie camera to check how she was looking today.
"Haan behen, it's a nice shade, kaunsa hai?" Radhika commented.
"Pink matte lipstick hai...2 din pehle hi online order ki thi, kal shaam ko toh aa bhi gaya," Naina informed her happily and unzipped her bag to take out the comb.
