Naina followed him and tried to cover up the distance between them, but Sameer was too quick to reach down and walk towards the other end of the vacant society. She almost ran behind the Rude-Man, and yelled his name - "Sameer."
He immediately slowed his pace and stood straight to his position, his back facing her front. She exhaled out in peace and ran into him with an exhausted face. Sameer stared at her without any emotion, and Naina spoke - "What is this? Why do you always talk about ending our friendship? Main toh kabhi nahi kehti hoon yeh sab?"
"Kahogi bhi kyu tum...tumhe kuch fark bhi padhta hai humare dosti se?" Sameer asked her rudely, and She was immensely hurt by his stinging words.
"Sameer, I never hurt you...but you always hurt me so much, to be honest, tum mujhe kabhi samjh hi nahi paye," Naina said in a cracking tone while salty tears were trickling down her rose hue cheeks.
"Arey, samjhte toh log nahi hai meri feelings, mere emotions, mere pyaar...mere jazbaat ko." He spoke vociferously, and his uneven breaths could be heard in the deadly silent environment.
"Pyaar? Kaun nahi samjh raha hai tumhare pyaar ko? Tum agar us insaan ko bataoge nahi apni feelings toh woh log samjhege kaise?" She asked him annoyingly.
"Kya batau? Main janta hoon woh insaan mere liye kya feel karta hai...I just don't want to break my heart once more by confessing my love despite knowing the answer." Sameer said in a low, painful tone, and his eyes shone with misery. Naina couldn't believe that this Rude-Man was in love...it was hard for her to accept the fact that Sameer is attached to a girl so much that he is taking out his frustration and anger upon her because that certain person isn't giving him the importance and appropriate time. She understood the entire matter now, and the reason for his impolite behavior.
"I can understand your feelings, ab mujhe samjh aaya tum kyu itne rudely behave karte ho...tumhara mind unsettle hai. You need someone jo tumhe sambhal sake, tumhari care kare...tumhe pyaar se rakhe...Haina?" Naina softened her tone and looked at him with a small smile.
"Haan." He uttered, in a meek tone, and added further - "Mujhe Pyar Ki Zarurat Hai. I Want Love...I Want To Be Loved."
His voice was swathed with immense pain, sorrow, and aloofness. He wanted a companion with whom he can share anything without fear of getting judged. He was crying for the first time in front of her, but She didn't think of him any less than a brave boy. Indeed he was. Living a life without a single friend is too tough to even imagine...Naina came ahead and lovingly wiped away his precious tears, shaking her head negatively. Sameer was awestruck, he had been mercilessly rude at her for always hurting him, albeit unintentionally, and yet She was taking away his tears. What is she? An Angel? Who doesn't even know how to be cruel to that person who insulted her so many times at once.
"Rou mat, please...bappa sab theek kar dege." She said with a hopeful smile.
"Kaunse mitti se bani ho tum? Main tumse itna rude hota hoon fir bhi tumhe mujhse naragzi nahi hai?" Sameer asked her in a shaky tone, and Naina just laughed lightly - "Zindagi bahut choti si hai, Sameer...I don't want to hold a grudge against anyone. Main rishtey suljhane me believe karti hoon, use aur uljhane me nahi, aur main ache se janti hoon ki tum bure insaan nahi ho...halat ne tumhe bura banne par majboor kar diya hai. But ek din aisa bhi aayega jab tumhe tumhara sacha pyar milega, jo tumhare andar ke is rude sameer ko humesha ke liye apne pyaar se mita dengi...I am sure that girl will definitely make you learn How To Smile."
Sameer was just looking at the pretty-girl with endless love and respect growing harder in his heart for her. Naina soothingly took something from under his swollen eye, held his wrist, and put a gentle eyelash on the back of his hand, elucidating him with a sweet smile - "I've heard ki agar hum aankh band kar ke...aankhon se toote hue baal par wish mangte hai toh woh zaroor puri hoti hai."
