"Naina, can I share something?" After cuddling for some time. Sameer looked down at Naina who was lying beside him, with her hand resting on his chest, and his palm clasped on her lower back.
"Sure, bolo?" Naina replied to him.
"Should we buy our house?" He asked or rather said in a soft voice, his facial expressions enveloped with zero confidence and courage.
"Suddenly?" She gently chuckled at his question, focusing on him completely.
"Umm no...to be honest, mujhe last year se ghar lena hai, but humara jo village me khet tha woh sell nahi ho raha tha, but thankfully we sold it to someone a few months ago, and we have a good amount of cash right now...plus meri aur tumhari itne saalon ki savings hain woh alag. So let's buy a home now?" Sameer simply explained to her the reason behind this unexpected thought in his mind, and Naina just stared at him without showing anything on her face.
"Kya hua? Bolo kuch?" He asked her restlessly.
"Kya kahu sameer, I don't know...like humari shadi ke kharche bhi baki hai abhi tak, phir agar main by chance pregnant hogayi toh I won't be able to work aur na main kuch saving kar paugi, ab aise me ghar lene ke bare me sochna is quite weird I think," Naina replied to him after a minute, sounding thoughtful but not logical.
"Okay, I understand you...but ek baar agar bache ho gaye phir toh bahut difficult ho jayega ghar lena, as you know...we will get involved in them, unke expenses hoge...wagera wagera, until we don't have kids. We can think of buying a house, also, I don't want our children to live in a rented house. Main tumhe, apni aai ko, humare bacho ko comfort dena chahta hoon." Sameer said with a calm smile while looking at Naina, hoping to see positivity framing her face, but she gave no response, watching him quietly.
He took a deep breath and added further - "Touchwood Radhika ke gharwale bahut ache hai but agar by chance unhone socha ki jis ghar me main reh raha hoon woh sell kar de...ya phir building redevelopment me gayi toh hum aai ko leke kaha bhatkege? She is getting older, unki health bhi itni acchi nahi rehti, before anything occurs I want aai to live in her own house. Main chahta hoon ki unka bhi apna ghar ho, unka bhi nameplate lage darwaze ke bahar. I genuinely want to fulfill our wish now."
Naina was compelled to agree with his statement as he was unquestionably right. His desire to purchase Their House was genuine and understandable but she wasn't certain about it yet. She wasn't sure whether they would be able to pay the loan every month or not. She knows buying a house in Mumbai is the biggest and most important dream for many people but only a few can fulfill it, and also she was aware of the increasing rates in the market of properties. People are taking extra money in the name of good-looking societies and healthy environments. Real estate brokers too don't reflect interest if the buyer doesn't have a heavy budget. Everything here is corrupted and unethical, but that's how it works. People know they are doing wrong yet they don't stop it because that's how they collect cash and provide their families with a comfortable lifestyle. Naina somberly looked at her fiance who wished to hear something pragmatic and optimistic from her, but she was clueless about his long-awaited dream.
Inhaling and exhaling for a good time. Naina clasped his sweaty hand and spoke with a gentle smile - "Tumhara sapna, mera sapna hai, aur main kabhi nahi chahugi meri wajah se tumhara Sapna adhura reh jaye...isliye agar tumhe lagta hai hum capable hai Mumbai jaise sheher me ghar khareed ne ke liye toh theek hai. I have no problem, after all, I have promised to support you in all your decisions."
"Without your consent, I wouldn't even go to see the house. Tumhari permission matter karti hain Naina, because tum bhi apne hard-work se earn kiye hue paise humare Sapnon Ke Ghar me invest karogi, tum sirf mera mat socho...take your time, koi jaldi nahi hai, shadi ke baad bhi hum ghar dekhne jaa sakte hai. Bas tumhara saath chahiye hai mujhe aur kuch nahi." Sameer wrapped his fingers around her palm, pushing a soft smile on his sullen lips as he said in a deep-concerned tone, making her feel overwhelmed with his consideration about her consent.
