"Waise, this is the last diwali of mine with you as your fiance. Next year se tumhari banke tumhare sath puja karugi." Naina rested her palms on both sides of his neck, looking at him with a curvy smile.
"Agar humne shadi thodi jaldi rakhi hoti toh yeh saal bhi tum meri banke mere saath puja me baith jati," Sameer said thoughtfully.
"Ab itne mahine mile phir bhi toh kitne kaam pending hai abhi tak, aur tum jaldi shadi karne ki baat kar rahe ho?" Naina asked him with a derisive smile while locking her arms around his nape, giving him a frisky smile.
"Kya karu, tumhe toh main shuruaat se apna banana chahta hoon, ab aur intezaar nahi hota sachi." He said huskily, touching his forehead against hers to appear a small dot of kumkum on her head.
"Bas aur Chaar Hafte intezaar kar lo, phir main zindagi bhar ke liye tumhari ho jaugi." She cajoled him with her soothing assurance and closed her eyes to feel the warmth of his breath fanning her lips.
"Sirf Meri," Sameer said with a different kind of satisfaction in his voice.
They both remained silent, rejoicing the moment they were in, with nothing to feel bothered about. There was relief in the halcyon breeze because if even they would be caught romancing here, no one would demean them. They are engaged and legalized to spend time together. Sameer cherished the delicacy of his woman's tattoo, his thumb gently rubbing her waist, and Naina breathed softly against his comforting chest as she embraced him, smiling while holding him closer to her to assure herself that this man was created only for her to love and adore.
While hugging her velvety body. Simple poetry came into his mind which he started to narrate, slowly and passionately - "Teri baahein kaafi hai mujhe rahat dene ke liye, rakhta hoon kareeb tujhe apne, jannat ki khushi paane ke liye, saansein teri jab takrati hai mere labon se toh marr mit tha hoon tujhe apna banane ke liye, aanewala hoon bahut jald ghodi pe baith kar, sajh sawar kar, tujhe zindagi bhar ke liye Mrs.Raut ka darja dene ke liye."
Her face colored into the deepest shade of pink and her grip tightened on his back, her mind processing the meaning of his beautiful poetry. Indeed just after four weeks, he was going to ride the horse to the wedding pavilion to make her his wife for his entire life. That day, that moment, that overwhelmed feeling, all of these would be just out of the world, and she couldn't literally wait to experience the array of emotions.
"Ab aise hi bahon me pakde khade rahoge ya mujhe jaane bhi donge?" Naina asked him amusingly.
"Agar tum meri marzi puchogi toh main kabhi tumhe khud se alag nahi hone dunga," Sameer replied to her in a raspy voice while nuzzling his nose against her hair.
"Aur agar main apni marzi puchu toh?" Naina tilted back her head to look at him with a lopsided smile.
"Tum chahti ho main tumhe jaane doon?" He asked her instead of answering.
"Humesha ke liye nahi...sirf thodi der ke liye keh rahi hoon pagal." She pulled his cheek when he stared at her with that pouty lips, and he cracked into a cute smile.
"Pakka jaane doon?" When Naina started to walk away. Sameer grabbed her wrist, looking at her roguishly.
"Sameer!" She whined at his mischievousness, and he freed her wrist, letting her go with a sweet smile.
"Jaa Simran Jaa jee le apni zindagi," Sameer said heroically.
"Simran nahi Naina hoon main mister." Naina reminded him to take her name and not of that fictional character played by Kajol.
