Sameer had been in a vile mood ever since Naina announced she didn't wish to continue this relationship. How can people go so blind to their family's emotions? He understands she loves her parents very much, perhaps more than she does him, but there should be a boundary between Love and Foolishness, and She was behaving like a stupid in emotions.
He entered his home with anger growing wilder on his face, and Shivangi, who was slicing apples, saw her brother furiously marching toward his bedroom. She quickly stood up, and asked him - "Kya hua? Tu Naina se baat karne gaya tha na? Kya kaha usne?"
Sameer controlled his feet forwarding further, and looked back at his sister with a nonchalant smile - "Kya kahegi woh? She said nothing, she was fine."
He took a long stride toward the table and picked up one sliced apple for himself, chewing it slowly with a look of intimidation cast over his visage. Shivangi didn't find his attitude appreciative, he was behaving differently and she knew it must be because of Naina. She took a low sigh, and questioned him - "I know tu jhoot bol raha hai, sach bata kya hua?"
Sameer slowed down his pace of munching on the apple, his head raising high to face his apprehensive sister. He crushed his teeth under his inner cheek, and said sternly - "Main jhoot nahi bol raha."
"Toh yeh tere chehre par khushi hone ki jagah itna gussa kyun hai?" Shivangi asked him pensively, and Sameer calmly wandered his tongue over his inner bones, swearing his heart to not reveal the truth. He exhaled loudly, came forward to look straight into his sister's brave eyes, and replied to her - "I am very happy." Placing his palms on her shoulders, he added - "No one can separate her from me. Koi bhi nahi, so don't worry. We Are Together, aaj bhi, kal bhi, aur humesha."
Sameer started to go, unable to lie to his sister, and Shivangi scolded him - "Tu bahut badi galti kar raha hai, don't be crazy for a girl. Teri puri life aage padhi hai tere liye kyu uske peeche khud ko itna dard de raha hai? Maine aai ko bhi kuch nahi bataya tere is harqaton ke bare me."
He promptly retreated his calculated steps and asked her with a stoic face - "Aai ko dawa di?"
"Sameer, main tujhse kuch keh rahi hoon," Shivangi said frustratedly.
"Aai ko dawa di ya nahi?" Sameer questioned her with an impassive countenance, and She slightly nodded, musing why her brother wasn't answering her questions.
"Good Girl." He lovingly patted her soft dark cheek, and walked straight to his bedroom, slamming the door loudly.
Shivangi kept staring at her younger brother's growing madness for a particular girl Naina, and her heart swelled up with fear and concern for him. She rubbed the frown lines from her forehead, and mumbled infuriatingly - "Pata nahi kaunsi aisi manhoos ghadi thi jab Naina humari zindagi me aayi."
• Sameer was serenely sitting on the edge of the bed, recalling the words Naina said on the terrace which gravely pierced his delicate heart. He simply rested his joined fingers against his closed mouth, his dark pitch eyes blazing with an Irresistible urge to pull her out of her dreamland where she would be living a life without him. This was never going to happen because until he is alive and sane, he won't let her go for such a stupid reason.
"It's aching me to say but I think we should part our ways."
"Sameer, main apne gharwalo ko dhoka nahi de sakti."
"You won't do anything, Sameer, tumne already sab kuch bigad diya hai kal raat."
"You can't force me."
