"Happy Diwali Sir." A series of voices greeted Sameer on the occasion of dipawali, and some of them embraced him as well to share brotherly affection and respect.

"Happy Diwali Sir." Amrita came to wish her senior in a soft voice, decked in a purple suit as it was the Traditional Day in their office.

"Happy Diwali Amrita," Sameer replied to her with a sweet smile.

"Looking handsome," Amrita said gently, gazing at the tall man up-to-down, all dressed up in a black silk kurta and white pajamas.

"Thank you very much, you are looking good too." Having no clue about how to give nice compliments to females as Sameer never praised anyone other than Naina, just said casually, donning his lips for a smile.

"Thanks, toh aaj kya plan hai aapka?" Amrita asked him hesitantly.

"Plan? Kuch nahi, ghar jake poojan karuga...aur phir family ke saath dinner." Sameer said normally while running his fingers through his hair.

"Wow, lagta hai aap kaafi family-oriented man hai," Amrita said teasingly.

"Bilkul, family is everything to me, without them I am nothing." He replied to her in a soft voice, and she didn't feel like there was a slight fakeness in his golden words. They were true and expressed directly from his heart.

"That's so sweet, aapki fiance bhi aayegi na aaj toh phir puja me?" Amrita knew she was trying to get over friendly with the tall boy, but then his unavoidable and natural charm didn't let her move away.

"Maybe, I don't know...actually use bhi uski office me pooja karni haina," Sameer said cluelessly.

"Oh Acha!" Amrita mouthed in response.

Sameer was blank now, whether to end the conversation here or try to show a little bit of interest in talking with her.

She shouldn't feel insulted or avoided!!

"Aap akeli rehti hai yaha?" Sameer asked her in a polite tone, and his way of treating her with respect clenched her poor heart with joy.

"Ji nahi, pehle rehti thi, ab puri family aa gayi hai yaha. Tai ki shadi haina." Amrita answered him with a sweet smile while fiddling with the yellow dupatta.

"Achi baat hai," Sameer said in a soft voice.

"Hmm, main aapko bhi bulaugi shadi me." Amrita looked at him with innocence in her black eyes.

"Oh, thank you very much Amrita, main aaj invitation card lana bhul gaya, next time I'll bring it and give it to you. Aapko bhi aana padega meri shadi me." Sameer spoke with a wide smile and saw his junior affirmatively nodding her head.

"I will definitely come. Main bhi toh dekhu kaun hai woh lucky girl jise aap jaisa itna acha husband milega." Amrita passed a playful smile to the boy who failed to control the blush spreading on his face.

"I am lucky too to get her as my wife," Sameer said proudly, and just then his phone started to ring, causing an interruption between them. He excused himself and went away to receive the call from his mother.

"Haa aai, main sab pooja ka samaan aate time leke aauga market se," Sameer assured his worried mother for the sixth time in a day.

"Aur meri bahu ko?" Savitri asked him playfully.

"Haa usko bhi leke aauga." He said with a cute smile while rubbing his neck.

"Pakka na?" Savitri confirmed.
