After giving tuition to his students. Sameer was returning home while roaming his enthusiastic eyes around the shops. He vaguely remembers that famous ornaments shop located across the narrow street, but he couldn't find it now. Sighing dejectedly, he kept walking, hoping to find that one particular face which He saw that day when He and Naina went out for the entire day.

Sameer entered one shop as he felt that this was where his girl saw golden jhumkas. A smile crept on his lips as he recalled her words.

Flashback

Naina and Sameer were ambling silently, keeping a minimum distance between them. She roved her irises around the locals, and her face bloomed with euphoria when she spotted a beautiful pair of Golden Jhumkas in the display of one of the renowned imitation jewelry stores. She quickly ran towards the shop with a confused Sameer following her, and Naina stared at the piece of the ornament with an exquisite smile...She couldn't stop adoring these jhumkas which unquestionably would look elegant on her ears...she wanted to buy this right away, but before that She'd need to ask the shopkeeper if it was costly or reasonable.

"You liked this?" Sameer asked her in a soft voice, and Naina excitedly nodded, replying - "Very Much, you know mujhe jhumke bahut pasand aate hai, and this one is like out of the world."

"Uncle, yeh kitne ka hai?" Naina asked the middle-aged man nervously.

"1499/- ka hai ma'am." The man replied to her with a gentle smile.

"O holy shit, itna mehenga?" She exclaimed shockingly, and He explained to her - "Yeh bahut reasonable price me rakha hai humne, dusri markets me jaake dekho aap kahi aisa piece nahi milega aur agar mil bhi gaya toh itna sasta nahi."

"But uncle yeh bahut zyada costly hai, kuch discount nahi mil sakta hai?" Naina asked him hopefully, her eyes drifting at that particular piece of trinket.

"Aapko kitne tak chahiye hai?" He asked her normally.

"Around 500/-." She uttered, with an embarrassed smile, and The man lightly chuckled - "Itne me toh manufacturing walo ko bhi nahi milta hoga. Main dusri design dikhata hoon, shayad woh pasand aa jaye."

"Nahi, rehne dijiye...mujhe sirf yahi pasand aaya tha," Naina said with a disappointed expression, and Sameer was quietly noticing how sullen his girl became when the shopkeeper refused to give her those jhumkas in her budgeted amount.

"Theek hai." The man said casually.

They both walked out of the shop, and Naina was sadly fiddling with the hem of her dupatta. She genuinely got attracted to that golden jhumke, but they're way too costly, plus no weddings were coming up this month, so she can't even buy such expensive earrings without any reason.

"Kya Hua?" Sameer asked her worriedly.

"Kuch nahi, mera mood kharab ho gaya," Naina replied to him annoyingly.

"Kyu? Sirf woh ek jhumke ke liye?" He looked at her mockingly.

"Woh sirf jhumke nahi the yaar, they're so beautiful and lovely, agar mere saath Radz aur Sonu aati na toh unhe bhi ek second me pasand aa jata." She spoke with a crestfallen visage and tweaked her lower lip between her brushed teeth.

"Itne pasand aaye the toh le leti, main de deta paise," Sameer said casually, not able to comprehend that money wasn't the issue. The thing is She can't buy expensive ornaments without her mother's consent.

"Paiso ki baat nahi hai, bahut mehenga tha." Naina looked at him in dejection.

"So? Tumhe pasand aaye the na toh le leti." He spoke with a calm smile.
