Naina had been in a vile mood ever since she got to know that Prithvi isn't a chaste man. She still couldn't believe the words spoken by his father...it was unbelievable. How could a decent guy like him change so much in a few years? Does adulthood really block the rooms of thinking? Does it compel people to do all the wrongdoings because they're young and their desires are out of control? She had been thinking about the times she spent with her boyfriend, and it didn't make her feel even for a moment that he was drunk. Perhaps he did that after meeting her? Anyway, they hardly get an opportunity to spend more than half an hour...She is always afraid about the society's inhabitants catching them in a compromising position. She is still very young and immature to handle such delicate matters with equanimity, and she doesn't want her parents to put restrictions on her freedom just for her One Mistake.
Naina was pacing around the room with restlessness, she had dinner unwillingly because she didn't want her parents to think that She was bothered about something serious...She ranked her fingers through her disheveled hair, and contemplated if she should directly tell Prithvi everything she heard, or wait for him to speak up the truth? But why would any guy come and tell his girlfriend that he was caught drinking alcohol in the classroom? Sue slapped her mind for being stupid and decided to call him up.
"Hey Janeman." Prithvi greeted her lovingly.
"Hi." She said in a low voice.
"Kya kar rahi hai?" He asked her huskily.
"Nothing special...you say?" Naina answered.
"I was just missing you." Prithvi replied to her in a gruff tone, and added - "Should I come to meet you?"
"Abhi?" She almost screamed.
"Don't worry, koi nahi dekhega mujhe...tu bol, main aa jauga kaise bhi." He said confidently, and Naina was skeptical about this idea.
"No, I don't want any misunderstandings and conflicts between our families," Naina replied melancholy, and Prithvi scoffed.
"Daring naam ki cheez nahi hai tujh me." He taunted her and exhaled.
"Main tumhari tarah courageous nahi hoon na," Naina said sarcastically, and Prithvi sensed a pinch of anger in her voice. He furrowed his eyebrows, and asked her - "What do you mean?"
"Do you drink?" She questioned straightforwardly.
"Why are you asking me this question, Jaan?" Prithvi softened his tone.
"Please, don't waste my time. I want to know the truth." Naina said in a meek tone.
"Yes, I drink." He replied to her honestly, and She was happy that he didn't try to hide his bad habit.
"Do you smoke?" She asked sternly.
"Yes! Rarely." Prithvi answered her.
"Do you take drugs?" Naina queried, and He quickly said in a shocked tone - "What? No way, kisne kaha tujhe yeh sab?"
"Kisi ne bhi nahi...tum mujhe sach batao sirf." She said in a curt tone.
"Jaan, I'm not lying...I don't take drugs." Prithvi replied to her with a disappointed face.
"Why didn't you tell me ki tum drink karte ho?" Naina questioned.
"Baby, aisi baatein kaise koi ladka apni gf ko batayega? Kitna weird lagta hai." He said in a low voice.
"You know, I'm so infuriated at you right now...I didn't even want to talk to you, par mujhe mere questions ke answers chahiye the isliye tumhe call kiya." She uttered, in a heavy, disgruntled tone, and Prithvi rubbed his forehead in annoyance.
