Naina's cousin brother Ganesha was getting married next month, and being close to him She decided to get herself a beautiful lehenga to wear at his wedding. She told her friends to accompany her, and they agreed to do that on her insistence. Naina with her mother and pals went to the mall where exquisite pieces of clothes were hung over the mannequins. She was looking at the bridal lehengas with a dreamy smile and wondered how beautiful she would look in the Shadi Ka Joda. Her face flushed with embarrassment when she saw Radhika giving her a knowing look. They strolled inside the shop to buy lehenga, and lavani saree for Sarita, whilst Sonali was reflecting interest in the backless blouse...it will look so beautiful on Naina, and since she had no extra growth of hair on her body. She wouldn't even need to go through the unbearable pain of waxing...Sonali dragged the girls towards the blouse section, and said enthusiastically - "Dekh behen woh red wala kitna mast dikh raha hai."
Naina quickly veered her head to the modernly-designed blouse that had a shimmering golden work on the sleeves. It doesn't look that bad if she views it from the front, and she doesn't think her mother would have any objection if She would buy a backless blouse for the lehenga. Naina kept staring at that particular piece of cloth with a wish of buying it for herself to wear at the wedding and make herself look the best. Radhika too couldn't stop gazing at the various collections of blouses that seemed so pretty. Sarita was busy with her shopping, so she let the young children roam around the mall.
"Soch tu kitni hot lagegi backless blouse me," Radhika exclaimed dreamily.
"Ekdum Madhuri Dixit ki tarah." Added Sonali with a jubilant smile.
"Sachi?" Asked Naina with an excited expression, and They nodded.
"Shambar takka meri jaan, you should definitely try out this blouse and that lehenga from the previous shop." Suggested Radhika, with an enthusiastic smile, and Naina quickly informed the seller - "Sir, I would like to try this blouse...but mera lehenga dusri jagah hai so first let me try that, aur fir aake yeh try karugi, don't sell it, ok?"
"Sure, Madam." The man said happily.
Naina scurried to the other side of the mall where she saw the ethnic lehenga and spotted her mother seeing the designs of purple sarees. Her favorite color! Naina looked at Sarita with a nervous smile, and asked - "Aai...mujhe woh peach lehenga lena hai, the one I showed you."
"Bala, it's quite expensive, tumhare bhai ki thodi shadi hai jo itna mehenga lena hai," Sarita said in a soft voice, hoping that her daughter would value the money, and wouldn't ask her to spend it unnecessarily on the lehenga.
"Koi baat nahi...I will see something else which isn't expensive." Naina agreed with a small smile, and Sarita felt culpable for breaking the fragile girl's heart. She let out a deep sigh, and said - "Par shadiyan baar baar thodi aati hai...toh le lo woh lehenga."
"Pakka na Aai?" Naina asked her mother with a controlled smile, and Sarita willingly nodded her head in agreement.
"Please give me this lehenga." She zestfully pointed her finger at the peach-colored lehenga, and The vendor happily handed over the trending piece of cloth to the young girl.
Naina took the heavy garment in her tiny hands and rushed to the trial room. She wore the lehenga over her jeans, and looked at herself in the mirror, the size was perfect for her body, and even the fabric doesn't seem prickly and uncomfortable. Naina twirled around with zest covered in her heart and showed it to her mother by slightly opening the door. Sarita complimented her through her eyes that She was looking angelic in this lehenga. Naina surpassed her blush and closed the door to take it off the expensive raiment. She came out after folding it neatly, and told her mother - "Aai aap yeh le lena, main tab tak blouse ka jo special shop hai waha try kar ke aati hoon."
