Sameer was getting hell bored because of Naina's absence. Sunday meant their day...this was the only day when he was totally free and away from the clutches of stress and studies. He was viewing the updates Naina was posting on her social media accounts and was tickled pink to see her jumping on the kids' trampoline. She was looking very exuberant and happy from within, her smile wasn't artificial. It was real and beautiful like her...He kept sliding the videos and images with a simple expression, and giggles rolled out of his mouth when he came across one candid picture of Naina in which she was bathed in the Mango Pulp. Her favorite fruit! How could someone be so hellishly cute without intending to be?

"Aur fir log poochte hai ki Sameer tum girlfriend kyu nahi bana lete...pehle meri wali ko dekho zara, kitni bachi si hai...ekdum cute and sweet." He thought with a shy smile, but it faltered the moment he remembered the pretty-girl already had a boyfriend. He shoved away his phone and tried to distract his mind which compelled him to think about Naina and Prithvi.

"Love is so difficult, man...na ho wahi acha hai...ya fir ho toh usi insaan se ho jiske dil me humare liye bhi utni hi special feelings ho jitni humare dil me hai unke liye. One sided love is too tough and complicated. Na apna pyaar bata sakte na us insaan ke bina jee sakte. Rubbish!" Sameer said to himself with a painful smile and closed his eyes.

His calm thoughts were interrupted by the sound of his phone's ringtone. He lazily picked it up, and heard the enthusiastic girl greeting him - "Hey Sameer."

Sameer furrowed his eyebrows in confusion as he couldn't recognize this voice, but it sounded quite familiar. He took a second before replying - "Hi, who's this?"

"Mujhe nahi pehchana?" The girl asked him teasingly.

"I guess, No." He replied to her honestly.

"Hawwww...itni jaldi mujhe bhool bhi gaye?" She said dramatically, and a moment later Sameer could hear the feminine girl singing a Bollywood song - "Dagabaaz re haye. Dagabaaz re...tumhare Naina bade dagabaaz re, kal mile ki humka bhool gaye aaj re."

He couldn't perceive who this dramatic girl was, and why was she talking to him sweetly as if they knew each other. He sighed, and told her - "Excuse me, ma'am, I don't think I know you, you must've dialed the wrong number."

"Uffo Sameer, it's me Ankita...your classmate." The girl finally revealed her identity, and Sameer was gobsmacked.

"Ankita...tum?" He asked confusingly.

"Yes, kya yaar...meri aawaz itni alag sound karti hai call pe?" She questioned.

"Umm No, actually...I felt it ki yeh aawaz jani pehchani hai but yaad nahi aa raha tha." Sameer said with a sheepish smile while biting his thumbnail.

"Badam khaya karo, fir sab ache se yaad rahega." Ankita taunted him.

"Roz khata hoon." He clarified.

"Fir bhi yaad nahi rehta? Zaroor aapke badam me namak kam hoga." She said with a lopsided smile, and Sameer was astonished by her dialogues on which she had no copyright. Of course!

"Tumhe mera number kaha se mila?" He asked her suspiciously.

"Mere kuch amazing sources hai, tum kya jano Sameer Babu, Ankita Surve kya cheez hai." She praised herself while giggling like a baby, and He understood that she was just joking. She must have gotten his number from the college group.

"Group me se mila na?" Sameer asked.

"Jab pata hai toh kyu poocha?" Ankita replied to him annoyingly.
