"Yeh kaha leke jaa rahe ho aap log mujhe," Naina mumbled in confusion as her eyes were palmed by her brother, who told her that there was a big surprise for her.

"Ek minute ruk," Prashant said with a gleeful smile and stopped as soon as they reached the destination.

"Are you ready for your birthday surprise?" Prashant asked his sister enthusiastically, and Naina desperately nodded her head for a yes, holding onto her uneven breath.

He gently removed his hand and Naina blinked her eyes to get adjusted to the surroundings. She saw her mother taking off the satiny red cloth from the giant object, and Naina was shocked when her birthday gift was revealed. She looked at the shining tempting black car parked just a few inches away from her shuddering body, beaming under the lights. Her family stared at her expressions in sheer delight, and Naina asked them - "Yeh...yeh car?"

"Your Birthday Gift," Nishikant informed his daughter in a soft voice, lovingly patting her cheek.

"Rrreally?" Naina fumbled, her enlarged eyes shifting at the glossy black car looking appealing.

"Yes Bala, happy birthday in advance." Sarita kissed her forehead, staring at her daughter with a gentle smile.

"Thank you so much, this is the best gift ever." Naina beamed excitedly, almost trotting toward the car to touch it and feel it for the real.

She hesitantly caressed the beauty of the car while hyperventilating, and tears welled up in her dewy eyes, overwhelmed by her family's unconditional love for her. Naina turned back to look at her parents and smiling elder brother and gulped down layers of delight while thinning her pink lips.

"Pasand aaya model?" Prashant hopefully asked her.

"Of course, yeh mera favorite color hai," Naina said with a sweet smile.

"Chal theek hai, ab driving course karne ke liye taiyar ho jaa." He spoke happily while looking at his mushy sister, only to get a suggestion from his mother - "Bahar jake kyu course karna, jab uska khud ka bhai use sikha sakta hai toh?"

"Aai, main pura din busy rehta hun, kaise sikhauga Naina ko?" Prashant asked his mother with furrowed eyebrows.

"Raat ko ghar aane ke baad, tum aur Nish mil kar sikha dena, jaldi seekh bhi jayegi." Sarita gave a useful idea to her son and husband.

"Well, mujhe toh koi problem nahi hai," Nishikant said with a bright smile.

"Fine...ab behen ke liye itna toh kar hi sakta hoon main." Prashant side-hugs his sister while kissing the top of her head, and Naina exhales deeply.

"Aap logo ke mind me car gift karna kaise aaya?" Naina asked them zealously.

"Waise bhi humein ek aur car leni hi thi...kyuki Prashant ko phir bike se jana padhta hai, aur tumhe bhi college train se jana padhta hai, toh ab sab sahi ho jayega. Prashant tumhe on the way drop kar lega college aur waha se phir sidha clinic, aur tumhara advance birthday gift bhi ho jayega." Nishikant apprised his younger daughter with a benign smile, and Naina rounded her lips in acknowledgment.

"Mujhe kisi ne bataya bhi nahi, this is so wrong." Naina sulked.

"Sahi hai, ek toh itna acha surprise do birthday me aur phir suno ki Mujhe bataya nahi, arey bhai surprise thodi bataya jata hai pagal." Prashant laughingly slapped his sister's head, which caused her to squint her eyes at him.

"Fine fine, aaj main bahut khush hoon so no arguments," Naina said with a cute smile, and her family giggled.

"Toh chalein long drive pe?"  Sarita suggested, and Naina was first to say vexedly - "Aai pooja karni baki hai."
