Calli pov: I stood there silently while sizing up the masked woman. I decided I wasn't going to fight her like a crazed woman. I was going to let her fight me. She ran at me slashing her blades, but I dodged each slash.
"Oh, you got faster," the woman said.
"Yeah," I commented.
She lunged forward, jabbing her right hand at me, trying to stab me, so I sidestepped to the left and dodged it.
"Too slow," I said.
"You seem to have gotten stronger," the masked woman stated as she inspected me.
"What did you do to my body?" I asked
"Oh, I just made you similar to Kiara," the woman giggled.
"What...." I snarled as I heard her name.
"Yeah, crazy, I made you go really fast, and I made you stronger!" The masked woman said
"Why?" I asked.
"Well, since you need to fight someone, I thought I would help you get stronger." She told me
"Well then, help me get stronger. I'll beat you right here and make you tell me why you know Kiara," I said.
"Bold coming from the woman I just killed," the masked oni laughed.
"I'm serious, you're done." I said calmly as I rushed towards her, spinning around my scythe and swinging it at her. "Blocked." I sighed
"You are still too slow...." the oni said with disappointment.
"Put a sock in it." I spat as I swung Ricky at her; she barely dove under it.
"I stand corrected. You are very fast," the oni said.
"Calli, how are you alive!?" Bae asked as she woke up.
"Oh Bae...." I said as I walked over to her and pressed down on one of her pressure points, making her transform into her full rat form and placing her on my shoulder gently.
"Calli, are you okay?" Bae asked
"Hold still, and hold on tight." I demanded
I lunged at the oni girl and spun Ricky around like a helicopter blade. The oni girl put her twin blades diagonally in response, making an X, and completely blocking the attack as sparks flew.
I rebounded and swung Ricky low, barely grazing the oni woman.
"Oh blood?" She said as she quickly healed.
"Tsk, you are too fast." I commented
"Ah, you noticed well, I did put all my stats into speed," she said.
"Stats show this isn't just a game.." I said in a monotone fashion.
"Is it not?" She asked
"No, why would you think that?" I asked
"Who knows," she giggled.
I have no idea what the hell this woman is on about, but I have to quickly end this. I clutch Ricky and jump into the air, spinning around and swinging towards her head once again. She ducked, barely dodging it.
I landed on the ground and swung again and again. This time I managed to push her back much to the woman's shock. She backed into the wall. I slashed at the wall and she dodged, which is what I wanted as it collapsed onto her, but she jumped out.
"Why are you carrying me?" Bae asked
"Oh yeah, because of this!" I yelled as I grabbed her and threw her at the oni girl.
"Eeeeeek!" Bae screeched as she tried to flap her arms and fly for some reason.
The oni woman looked on ahead, confused by this, and didn't move. I smiled in response and ran at her, managing to slash her mask off.
"Who are you?" I asked
"Haha, you uncovered me! I am the mighty Ayame!" She giggled
"Who?" Bae and Irys asked
"Ayame-senpai?" I said I was confused by her being here.
"In the flesh!" She stated
"Why did you try to train me with force?" I asked
"Oh, because you aren't ready for what's coming," she told me.
"Oh, am I not?" I asked
"Nope, you should be thanking me!" Ayame-senpai said
"So by the way, why the hell are you here, and how did you get here without alerting the guards?" I asked
"Because my mask was a cloaking device," Ayame-senpai said.
"That makes sense," I said.
"Eh, you almost killed me!" Irys said
"Not true," Ayame-senpai said.
"Senpai, don't drop by like this again!" Towa-senapi and Kanata-senpai said
"Why didn't you like my entrance?" She asked
"You gave us a fucking fright!" Coco-senpai said
"Wait, do you have a way out of here!?" I asked
"Yes, but you definitely aren't ready if you can't beat me." Ayame-senpai stated
"Ready for what you tell me!" I said
"You aren't ready for it," Ayame-senpai said.
"Okay, you're going to be difficult, I see..." I sighed
"Well, if you want to leave, then you need to beat me." Ayame-senpai said, "Or make me bleed badly." She laughed
"You are carefree," I said.
"Well, it's good to be free!" Ayame-senpai said
"I agree," Coco-senpai said.
"I can't agree with that fully, but whatever you say," I said.
"Well, you aren't very smart if you don't think someone trying to be free is evil or not a good person." Coco-senpai said
"I didn't say that at all...." I said
"Wait, you didn't, then who did?" Coco-senpai asked
"Not any of us..." I said
"Huh, well, I sure as heck hope no one thinks like that." Coco-senpai laughed
"Luckily, no one thinks that," I laughed.
"Now your free!" Ayame-senpai laughed
"No, I'm not!" I yelled
"Yes, you are, and you can't say otherwise!" Ayame-senpai said
"If I'm free, then I'm going to fly right now!" I yelled as I jumped and hit the ground, "See, I'm not free!" I said
"That's not how freedom works, Calli..." Ayame-senpai sighed
"How does it work?" I asked
"Well, however you view it, to be honest," Ayame-senpai said
"Okay, when I meet Kiara again, I will have found my answer...." I said
Ayame-senpai looked at me and sighed, "Then let's get to it!" She said as we got ready to go to Kanata, first picking up my mom and sister
