Koyori pov: "Meat, Meat, grill the meat!" I sang as I slapped the delectable food onto the grill, watching it sizzle, but there was something more beautiful next to me. Iroha was smiling at me and leaned onto her hand. Her eyes were beautiful and shimmered as she looked at me.
"I could listen to you sing about meat for hours." Iroha cooed softly.
I pressed the meat on the grill and glanced back up. "I can listen to you for hours," I said in general.
"So do you want to talk about, you know, what?" Iroha asked me
I shook my head. "No, I just want to talk to you," I said, causing her face to become red.
"I daresay that you really pulled my heart strings!" Iroha said
"Cute ninja," I stated. Iroha glared at me and rolled her eyes at me.
"No mayonnaise for you," Iroha said.
"Can you please say Nin-Nin just this once?" I asked
"Why I'm not a ninja..." Iroha sighed I pouted, and she began to regain composure.
"It would be so cute if you did it, though!" I whined out to her, and she immediately began to blush.
"Nin-nin!" She blurted out as she even made a ninja sign.
"How cute!" I giggled, hugging her slightly, and she began to flail around in embarrassment.
"Don't pay attention to me; the meat will burn!" Iroha cried out.
"You're right, it's burning. I'll eat the burned one," I said.
"Wait-I'll eat the burnt one; I don't want you to have to eat burnt meat!" Iroha said
The two of us stared at each other as we took the first serving of meat off the grill and placed it on a tray.
"I'll eat the burned one, Iroha. I don't want you to have to eat something that is imperfect," I said.
"But I don't mind imperfection; nothing is perfect, and besides, you cooked it, so I'll eat anything you cook!" Iroha said
Her eagerness was really hitting me deep in my body. She was so adorable, and she really made me wonder what I wanted to do with my life. Fine, you can have it," I mumbled.
The two of us broke out in laughter for some reason. We just talked about who would eat the burnt piece of meat. The two of us really are into one another, and we really care about what one another thinks.
Iroha took a bite of the burt meat. "Hot!" She mumbled as she chewed, but she seemed to really enjoy it. "Yummy," she said.
"Is it really good?" I asked, and she nodded in response.
"Because you made it!" She stated
"Come on, I didn't really make it that well; you know it was burnt, so stop acting like it was the best food you've eaten!" I said
"Well, I really like your meat," Iroha said.
"I'll give you a minute to rephrase that." I said
"Sorry, but no!" Iroha giggled; she knew full well what she said.
The two of us kept chatting away about little things, and we kept learning about one another. The two of us really had a lot of fun.
"What are we going to do after this?" Iroha asked me
To be honest, I have no idea what we're going to do since I really don't want to go back to Lui-nee and the others for a while since she knows about the stunt I pulled. Maybe we can do other things to pass time and then we can go back eventually because we can't run away forever.
First we will take over the world, then we will usurp Holox, then we will destroy, and finally we will rebuild the world in our own image. We have to be prepared to start a war with the world and the rest of our friends.
"Koyori, are you okay?" Iroha asked
"Yeah, sorry, let's continue to eat. Are you still hungry?" I asked
Yes," she said tersely.
I thought maybe I should treat her more since she is treating me with lots of mayonnaise. Maybe I should get her raw veggies to eat, which would make her happy. She loves raw veggies.
Iroha put more meat on the grill by herself, which made me excited. I was practically drooling over the meat. Iroha was hugging me all of a sudden. I was really thrown off but happy by her touch.
"You're adorable," I told her.
"Thank you, so are you," Iroha said.
I leaned in and captured her soft lips. She pushed into the kiss, really excited by my sudden attack on her, but I quickly pulled away.
"Let's not let the meat burn!" I said
"You're right!" She said this before flipping it over so the other side would cook.
I began to think about the past a little bit more when I first met Iroha. I never really thought I would get along with her. She isn't the brains; she is the brawn; she is the muscle. She wasn't my type, but I was so wrong.
She always took an interest in my craft, no matter what I did or how I did things. She never got mad at me. I feel like I mess up a lot, but she keeps pushing me to go forward. I want her to watch me more and more, and then long after I figured out that I really got along with her,
Iroha is my type. She is my opposite, but that's why we get along. If she can watch me, that's all I want.
Even if the worst-case scenario happens, I will always have her by my side. Even though I don't want her to get hurt, if she is with me, I won't have to worry anymore.
The two of us can become the world rulers, and as we both agreed, after the world is ours, we'll take our relationship to the next step. I'll love her no matter what.
That will not change.
