Reine pov: I told Moona-senpai I'd be joining them in a few minutes and left as Suisei-senpai led me into a room and let out a sigh. I had never seen this room in council before, and I wondered how long this has been here.
"So do you believe me?" I asked
"Of course I do, after all, my father studied multiverse theory and stuff." Suisei-senpai said
"Really?" I asked.
"Correct. Have you heard of singularity points?" Suisei-senpai asked
"No, what does that mean?" I asked her
"Don't worry about that right now," Suisei-senpai said calmly.
"Why not?" I questioned
"We just need to figure out how you managed to come back in time." Suisei sighed
"I question if this is real. Should I make changes to my life?" I asked
Suisei-senpai looked at me and smiled: "Are you happy with your life?" She asked
"Yes, I was happy," I told her.
"That's good, you see, I feel bad because I haven't talked to my friends in so long since our team disbanded..." Suisei-senpai sighed
"What happened?" I asked
"Sora and Azki got married, A-chan got a girlfriend, Roboco went offline, and Miko is a dumb bitch who hates fighting." Suisei-senpai told me
"But you miss them?" I asked
"My heart is empty... Suisei said
"But the glimmer in your eyes when you said Azki makes me think otherwise," I said.
"Azki is my oldest friend. She's always stuck with me. I just don't want to bother her much as she's married now." Suisei-senpai said
"You seem like you don't want to forget them," I said.
"I don't, they were like family to me," Suisei said.
"What if you did forget?" I asked
Suisei-senpai parted her hair and showed me a ginormous scar on her forehead. My eyes widened in response.
"I suffered a head injury that has made some of my memories vanish," Suisei said, "not that I want to remember some of them." She added
"How can you say that though?" I asked
"Have you ever felt inadequate or as if your life has no meaning? That is me." "I want to find the meaning but not connect it to my past," Suisei said.
Suisei went up to me and pinched me, "damn you aren't asleep." She sighed
"I don't get it." I said
Suisei-senpai thought about it and got an idea. "We need to shock you," she said.
"What do you mean?" I asked
"We need to make you surprised or feel a strong emotion, so much so that it may wake you up if this reality is fake," she said.
"How can we do this?" I asked
"Do you have any family?" Suisei-senpai asked
"Yes, Momei and Kiara," I said.
She looked at me and sighed. she looked as if she was comptemplating something
"Is it possible that you can fight one of them?" Suisei-senpai asked
"N-no...." I said
She just sighed and shook her head. "You think you are weak..." She scoffed at me. "Well can you at least confirm this is a dream?" She asked
"Wait read the serial number on my back!" I said loudly.
"173613" Suisei-senpai said
It was one digit lower than it should be...
"Let me just tell you if you want to snap out you have to stimulate your body that could be shock, fear, lust, anger, sadness, or extreme happiness" Suisei-senpai said
"What is the catch?" I asked
"You have to also make something happen that is different from your reality" Suisei-senpai said
"How would you do it?" I asked
"So I'd probably kiss Azki she's my sister figure so I feel like that would be enough of a shock" Suisei-senpai said
I gulped so it's either Mumei or Kiara then "are there any alternatives?" I asked
"Well you could kiss someone you despise in my case if I found Miko and kissed her it'd work" Suisei-senpai said
"Okay....I don't despise anyone here so its the ladder option" I sighed
"Well you could always just try other things first" Suisei-senpai said
"Senpai is there an easier way?" I asked
"If there is you need to find it" She told me
I gave it some thought the easiest way would be the kiss
"I need a favor you need to distract Calli..." I said
"Why would I do that?" Suisei-senpai said
"If I remember correctly you should be around her level since you are rusty and also if you fight her you may get the ending you want since she is a reaper!" I said
"Are you sure I will bleed?" Suisei-senpai asked
"Yes" I calmly stated
She let out a sigh and pulled out her axe "even if I'm a cognitive version you spoke to me" she said
We ran out of the room I told Moona-senpai that I needed to see Mumei and Kiara before we left which wasn't a lie
"Who am I after?" Suisei-senpai asked
"The woman with pink hair!" I said
"Roger!" She commented
Calli was running towards Kiara on schedule this was where she apologized and they made up but I wasn't going to let that happen
Senpai shot forward going to cut Calli's head off but Calli sensed her presence and blocked with Ricky
"Huh, Calli?" Kiara said confused by her presence
I ran in and grabbed Kiara beginning to run away with her
"Woah Reine why are you being so direct with me?" Kiara asked
"Where are you going?" Mumei asked as she caught up to us
"I need to get out of this weird dream!" I told her
"Is this why you are acting off is this all a dream?" Mumei asked
"Yes..." I said
"Then we will both help you!" Kiara said
I looked at the two of them in shock they believe me just like that then again it would be odd if we didn't trust one another.
