Mumei pov: "Kiara, I'm going to do something bold," I said.
"What?" Kiara asked.
"Every torture device in the usual room I'm going to try to absorb all the power from them," I said.
"Wait, I should go since I can't die!" Kiara said
"But you can't siphon power, and we can't risk Sana getting hurt," I said.
"What about Fauna and Kronii!?" Kiara suggested, but she knew that wasn't happening.
"Zeta, you will sit this one out, but you will be squad two. Come help me if the vanguard fails. I trust you."
"Wait, who is the vanguard?" Zeta asked
"Selen, Ame, and I..." I sighed
"Oh, I see what your doing, Mumei, you are trying to use me since I'm expendable to you," she said.
"Oh, you noticed?" I said sarcastically
"What happened between you two senpai?" Kaela asked
"It doesn't matter," I said.
"Oh, that is like you!" Selen said
"Please just quiet down for a minute, Selena." I groaned
"You know Elira said you were no good for me," Selen said.
"What are we, a fucking married couple?" I asked.
"Woah, you said fuck?" Selen said, "How bold," and she laughed.
I walked past her, and she flew at me from behind, trying to hit me, but Zeta got in the way.
"Don't you dare..." She said
"Selen, we are going... I calmly ignored the attack.
"Mumei, you could at least say please." Selen laughed.
"Please?" I said I was almost throwing up from that.
"You are being dramatic..." She said
"We both know you're all about theatrics," I grumbled.
"You are still on that?" Selen was astonished by my tenacity and pettiness.
"Well, you don't compare to me at full power, so why should you have to keep your promise to me?" I asked
"Okay Mumei, I'm sorry I bailed on you!" Selen shouted
I just ignored her grabbing Ame and dragging her to the usual room, but around that area I began to sense Flare
"Go collect them," I told Gura.
"So why am I here?" Ame asked me I looked at her and smiled.
"You are the crux of this since you always abuse time powers," I said.
"So you want me to infinitely rewind?" She asked
"Bingo," I told her.
"So why am I here?" Selen asked
"Entertainment now that that's out of the way, let's do this!" I yelled as Kiara opened the door.
"Wait, first we need a team name!" Selen suggested
"No, we don't!" Ame said
I gave Selen a look, and she knew she was allowed to continue. "What about SelAMei?" she suggested.
"That is odd, so who is getting more recognition, Mumei or I?" Ame asked
"Mumei," Selen said.
"Wait, so the only part of my name is the A?" She asked
"Yup," Selen stated.
"I'll allow it just because it's you, Selen." I giggled, bringing a smile to her face.
"I haven't seen you this happy in a bit," she stated.
"Just follow me." I groaned
Selen entered next to me as I was carrying Ame since I needed to be in close proximity to her so her rewind wouldn't destroy the timestream.
"Initiating turrets...." a computer said as guns appeared all over and a volley of shots began.
"Rewind!" Ame said as the bullets paused and went back, but at the same time I was moving back. However, I used my power to break through it and ran forward despite the rewind.
The ground opened up and shot spears upwards. Selena and I jumped into the air to dodge it as Ame released the rewind.
"Why the hell is the volley commencing?" Ame questioned me as Selen and I floated in the air.
"Well, probably because Selena isn't registered in the usual room, but this works to our favor," I said.
"How!" Ame asked.
"Well, you see, we need as much of this stuff to pop up as possible," I said.
"Flamethrowers," the computer said, as fire shot all around us.
"Hold on!" I yelled as Selen and I flew around really fast, creating a cyclone and dispelling it as soon as the fire left. The bullets shot out again at my blind spot, and Ame wouldn't be able to turn back in time.
Suddenly Zeta jumped in the way and blocked the bullets with her body, saying, "Thanks!" I said it loudly.
"Just get to the power grid," Zeta said.
The walls suddenly began to close in on us while spikes grew out of the wall.
"Ame, I'm going to do something bold." I said I threw her to the other side of the room and into safety.
"Rewind now!" Ame said as she pushed the walls back somewhat, but they broke.
"Damn it, she's in a weak state...." I said
"Well, we need to get me to the grid, so help me, Selen!" I said
"Oh, you are trusting me again?" Selen said
"Yes, I am," I said.
"Thank you," she said.
"Just this once!" Mumei said
Selen flew over and grabbed me, spinning me around mid-air, creating a wind barrier to shield me. wire shot out and wrapped it around us, but Zeta lunged forward and broke them.
"Go Senpai!" She said
"Am I using foresight?" I said
"We are almost at the singularity point, but we fail all of them!" She told us
"Damn...." I growled
"Wait, I have an idea..." Selen said
"What!" I asked.
"Trust me, pull out your dagger!" She said
"Alright!" I said I was yanking it out.
She grabbed my hand with her dragon hand and told me to slash behind us at full power, which we did, beginning to slice through the dimension. There was not a big enough tear for someone to enter or exit, though.
"That did nothing!" Ame yelled
"No, it did something," Kiara and I said.
The ground began to electrify, and poison gas began to fill the air. Bullets and fire also shot out.
Ame was about to get hit by all of it, but suddenly a gust of wind blew through the room, blowing everything away.
I landed in front of the power box. "We got this," I said.
