Irys pov: I really wanted to go and find Bae, but both my moms were now awake and were parenting me despite her wounds. Towa was being quite helpful with doing work around the house.

"We can't let you leave right now since the guards are all out," Kanata sighed.

"Well, I need to find my wife..." I commented

Kanata sighed and placed a bowl of soup in front of me, "eat something at least." She told me I knew she was stalling, but it was true-I couldn't search on an empty stomach.

I ate some food and stood up, stumbling towards the door since my body ached all over due to my injuries.

"You should lie down, Auntie!" Kobo said loudly:

"I really need to find Bae though...." I groaned in agony.

"No Kobo is right." "Usually she is just being a dumb idiot, but this time she is actually saying things that are right," Clara said.

"You are children, you don't get it," I said.

"We get it perfectly; we don't want you to get hurt," Clara said.

"They are right..." Towa said softly.

"Mom, come on, we both know I need to go..." I told her

"Yes, we know, but we also need to wait since us devils will be snuffed out immediately," Towa said.

"But Clara and Kobo are here; we need to find Calli fast before she gets herself hurt," I said.

"Don't worry, I'm sure Calli will be fine." Towa commented

"Really?" I asked.

"Definitely," Towa told me.

I bit my lip and punched the wall beside me. "Damn it, I just am so worried," I sighed under my breath.

"If you are that worried, we can go in about three minutes," Kanata said.

"Thanks mom!" I shouted

"Just don't show any malice; they won't detect your devil side," Kanata told me.

I nodded and called myself down as much as I could, mentally preparing myself to hide out.

Kanata did some stuff with Coco-senpai, and as she said, three minutes later, she came out ready to go.

"Don't push yourself," she told me.

I nodded and immediately tried to run. She glared at me angrily and asked, "What did I say?" She asked

"I'm sorry, I'm fired up," I told her.

She rolled her eyes and opened the door. I ran out, realizing immediately that we were in the sky.

"Got you!" Coco-senpai said as she wrapped her tail around me.

"Why are we in the air?" I asked

"Oh, I lifted us up so we could reach you faster earlier; I forgot to lower the house," Kanata said.

"Thanks for saving me, by the way," I told her.

"If I didn't, I would be an awful mother," she said.

"That would be true." I told her she didn't want me to fly since I was injured and I would alert the guards, so she let me ride on Coco-senpai's back. We went into the air and scanned around, noticing authorities going in one direction.

"That is where Calli is, huh?" I sighed

"That's too many people for just four girls. " Kanata commented

"Well, three of them are Grim Reapers, and the other one is a goddess representing chaos," I said.

"Uhm, what the fuck...?" Coco-senpai asked

"It's confusing, huh?" I laughed

"I get it. That's why I am saying what the fuck?" Coco-senpai said

"Oh, is it really that confusing even if you understand it?" I asked

"Again, I'm not confused; it's just that it's a lot to impact...." Coco-senpai said

"We need to check out why the hell they are gathering there," Kanata said.

We began to speed up at a decent pace so I wouldn't get hurt by the wind pressure, but we were still a ways away.

"What the hell is happening!?" Coco-senpai asked as we heard an explosion.

I began to sense Bae was fighting someone. I needed to hurry up and get there. I stood up and jumped off of Coco-senpai by lunging off her tail and beginning to fly fast.

"You moron!" Coco-senpai yelled

"We need to cover her!" Kanata said

As soon as I was detected, I was glanced at, but my part angel side was dominating, so they didn't see me as a threat.

I couldn't believe Bae was in danger; if she got hurt, I wouldn't forgive myself. I needed to go faster, but my wounds were too big; I could feel them slowly opening again, so I slowed down, but the pace I had to go at wasn't good enough.

Coco-senpai grabbed onto me and began to fly faster, using her head to shield me from the wind so I could move faster as soon as we were in range. I looked down.

"Throw me!" I yelled

"No, it's dangerous!" Kanata said

"I need to be thrown!" I said

"Fuck it!" Coco-senpai yelled as she threw me down.

I flew down like a missile, landing dramatically in front of Bae. "I-irys!" Bae yelled I looked around and saw pink hair flying in the wind.

"Where is Calli?" I asked

"You're standing on part of her...." Bae said

I looked down and saw her dismembered leg. I wanted to throw up, but I stopped myself. I needed to get Bae away and regroup.

My thoughts were cut off by a masked woman appearing in front of me and almost slashing my arm off.

"Oh, you have devil's blood too," the woman said.

"Yeah..." I sighed while my arm slowly began to heal.

"Are you weak like that pink-haired girl?" The masked woman asked

"I don't know which woman I am." I asked while pulling out twin blades.

"Well, you seem strong, but I'm mad and I wanted to put the rat down," the woman said.

I began to laugh. "I won't let you hurt her." I told her, and she began to laugh.

"Show me then," she said.

I nodded, and we ran at each other. I was going to beat this woman.
