Miko pov: "What the hell is wrong with you?" A-chan yelled as she poked Azaz and Sui-chan on the foreheads.
"We came back alive..." Azaz commented
"You almost bled out," Robochi said.
"But we didn't, so it's all good." Sui-chan laughed
"Do you not feel pain?" A-chan asked
"Not at all," Sui-chan sighed.
"That's not entirely true, but she kind of is numb to pain ever since that one day with our father, she almost died," Anemachi explained.
"Toko-chan I think I'm ready to fight" Sui-chan said
"Okay!" Toko said happily.
"Wait, Sora, talk her out of this!" A-chan said
"No, just let her do her thing," Sora-chan
calmly said
"She is literally on the brink!" A-chan yelled
"Calm down; you can't convince her." Nodoka-san said
"Toko-chan question: would you kill me?" Sui-chan asked
"Of course!" She happily said
I was expecting Toko to get yelled at, but instead Sui-chan smiled calmly, which seemed to put her at ease. The two girls began their second match, and I noticed immediately that Toko wasn't holding back despite the fact that Sui-chan was badly injured. However, she seemed to also be making it so her attacks wouldn't harm her much.
Sui-chan was going for the kill; she wasn't holding back either, but that is her friend, so why...
Neither of them fears death. Azaz doesn't either; meanwhile, I'm afraid...
I was a fool trying to get Sui-chan to give up fighting. I watched as Toko shot past her and cut open her left shoulder. Blood flew out, but Sui-chan didn't care. Even with an injury as severe as that, she was moving around without a care as if it never happened.
On closer examination, I noticed her hair was a mix of light and dark blue; it has changed once again.
Before they could hit each other again, Azaz got in the way. "You two should rest." She suggested they nod and sit down.
"Mikochi, how do you feel?" Sora-chan asked
"I want to know how pain feels..." I said
"What do you mean?" Sora-chan asked
"Sui-chan bleeds but doesn't seem to mind, but how can she be so brave to face this?" I said.
"Oh, you want to know how she accepted death and pain?" Sora-chan said
"Yes, am I pathetic for being afraid?" I asked
"Not really, but you have to understand that we have to fight; we always have had to..." Sora-chan said
"Usually, I would stay back," I said.
"That is true. You never really knew what it meant to bleed." Sora-chan said
"Do you think Roboco gets the concept?" I asked
"No, she's a robot." Sora-chan giggled
"Oh yeah..." I said
Mikochi: just take your time and figure this out yourself. I'm sure Sui-chan is more willing to listen now; have you noticed a change in her?" Sora-chan pointed out
"Yeah, I have," I said.
I noticed a knife on the counter and had an idea. I just had to prepare. I gave it some thought, bit my lip, stood up, and grabbed it as I approached Sui-chan.
"Hey!" I said.
"Hi Miko," she said calmly.
I saw that Toko was mad because I was talking to her, but Sui-chan talked her down with just a look.
"Hey Miko, would you kill me?" Sui-chan asked
"I don't know if I could..." I told her
She frowned and looked down. "Thought so," she sighed.
I gulped and began to shake. I didn't know if I was ready to do this, but even if I don't stand a chance with her, I at least want to show her I'll be prepared for anything.
"Sui-chan look!" I shouted
She looked up, and her eyes widened as I stabbed my right hand with the knife. I watched my blood flow down it, and I began to wince in pain, but I bit my lip so I could keep my eyes open.
"H-how is that?" I asked in agony.
Sui-chan stood up and immediately ran up to me and hugged me.
"You moron..." She said softly
She looked at my hand and seemed fascinated by the blood. She suddenly looked away.
"No, you aren't ready for that side of me." She said
"What side?" I said
"It doesn't matter," she said.
She had Toko give her bandages, and she began to wrap my hand up.
"You are really stupid, Miko," Sui-chan said.
"Yeah, I know," I told her.
"Sui-chan, do you want to die?" I asked
"Yes," she said quickly.
"W-what..." I said it in shock.
"Life and death are the same to me," Sui-chan said.
"She has always been like this," Toko said.
"Kind of edgy..." I said under my breath, not expecting to be heard, but suddenly I felt a sharp pain as Sui-chan slapped me.
The look in her eyes was lifeless once again, but then they shimmered again as soon as she looked at her hand.
Mikochi, please kill me. She suddenly said
"Wait... what..." I gulped
"Kill me; please show me you are devoted to me," she said.
"I don't know," I said in shock.
"Please, Mikochi!" she yelled.
"Is this what you really want!?" I asked
"Yes!" she told me as she looked at me straight in the eyes and nodded. She tossed her axe in my direction, letting me catch it, and she stood there unmoving. I walked over and picked up the axe.
"Toko-chan, whatever you do, don't stop this." Sui-chan said
"Don't worry, I know what you want." Toko sighed
I began to shake. Sui-chan sighed. "Miko, you love me, right?" She asked me I nodded in response. "Then please do this for me." I told her
"Tsk...ahhhhh!" I screamed as I swung her axe at her neck, but my body stopped me. I was only able to barely hit her skin. "I can't do it!" I shouted
Sui-chan sighed as she walked up to, "I hate you." She whispered as she suddenly pressed her lips to mine gently and walked away, that kiss wasn't filled with hate.
"What is up with you?" I said it softly.
"Toko-chan, do you know any strong people?" Sui-chan asked the Cerberus
"Yup!" Toko-chan said eagerly as they began to walk away.
"Wait, are you going to ignore me now!?" I yelled
I noticed Sui-chan smiled a bit and extended her arm, giving me a thumbs up.
"Wow, she said she hates you. It seems like you are doing well." Azaz laughed
I looked at her in shock, blushing, and shook my head rapidly-what was Sui-chan doing to me?
