Gura pov: "Where is everyone!?" I yelled as I looked around. All I remembered was that Ina did something and then nothing; it wasn't her that made me black out.
"So this is where you got to..." Mumei said.
"Oh, Moom, what happened? Do you know?" I asked her
"No, Kronii is looking after Ame, Fauna is looking after Ina, and Sana and Bae are watching Irys," Moom stated.
"Wait, Irys, what is happening with her!?" I asked
"She is sick, and apparently her body isn't doing too well," Mumei said.
"Let's go back and help her!" I suggested
Mumei put her fingers up and made an "X" with them. "Nope," she told me.
I glared at the owl. "Eh?" I just said I responded.
Mumei pulled out a knife-not her usual dagger but a standard pocket knife-and she pointed it at me, saying, "You're weak!" She told me
"Damn, you don't have to do me like that." I told her
"I'm not going to train you since I'm on vacation, but I don't want to see you lose like a weak, pathetic shark," Moom said.
"Wow, you really try to motivate me." I commented
Moom rolled her eyes. "You don't need to." She said she threw the knife up in the air. I looked up and watched it. "Catch it," she demanded.
I waited for it to start to fall, but it didn't seem like it was ever going to hit the ground. I glared at it, almost getting stabbed in the face as it suddenly shot down.
"What the hell was that!?" I asked
Mumei laughed at me and smirked with pride. "Get your trident out and grow!" She said
"And grow?" I pulled my trident out and tried to understand what she wanted with this.
Mumei picked up the pocket knife again and threw it at a tree. It was like wind pressure wrapped around it, making the blade stronger as it hit the tree, causing it to erupt.
"Do that with your trident," Moom said.
I glared at her, and my jaw dropped. She makes this seem so easy. What the hell is going on with this?
I threw the trident, but Mumei stood in front of me and caught it "wrong!" She yelled
"Can you at least tell me what I did wrong?" I asked
"Nope," she stated. "Try again," she told me.
I once again tried to throw the trident, and yet again she stopped me before it left my hand.
"Your form is off. You need to do better. You need to throw the trident so the wind isn't against it. You need to make the wind your friend!" She said
"Wait... can I at least try to remember why I'm here before we train?" I asked
"No! We don't have time; literally, Omega is coming back, and that isn't the only threat; if we are weak or waver, they'll destroy the world!" Moom stated
Her confidence really dug deep into me, making me think that I really do need to try hard.
I tried to throw the trident one last time and paused. "Stop!" Mumei screamed at me, "You need to fix your form!" I was told
I remembered back when Omega threw Calli's scythe at Amelia, the air pressure kind of cut into me before the scythe did, so did they use the special form? I wonder if I can do it too.
I began to move my wrists, trying to find my breaking point. What are the limits to my wrists flexibility? What will happen if I go all out from the start when I throw it? Can I loosen myself up?
"Gura, you need to find your perfect form; you can't replicate my body since my body was made to be perfect in every conceivable way." Moom stated
"Damn, someone is vain right now," I said.
"Well, I spend too much time with Kronii," Moom stated.
I couldn't deny that they're married after all, but at the same time, her bringing up Kronii makes me think about Amelia right now.
"Don't think of Amelia; you're only going to make it harder for yourself if you think about her and ruin your form," Moom said.
Her mind-reading ability is really annoying but cool at the same time. She read my mind once again and threw my trident at me. Her glare informed me she wants me to work on my form and get better and not overthink things.
I began to play with my wrist, trying to snap it into a specific place. I need to get the feeling that it's loose, almost dislocated, to be honest.
I don't really know how to get that feeling, but it is needed. Mumei stared at me and sighed, "Don't destroy your body." She said
She has a fair point, but we still need to train and get better even without being mindful of our bodies.
I'm sure Amelia is doing that, I'm sure Ina will do that, I'm sure that Irys isn't sitting still right now, and Calli and Kiara, I'm sure they're doing things to grow as well, and I'm doing nothing.
"Gura, worry about yourself!" Moom yelled
"I refuse!" I said
Mumei grabbed my shoulder and squeezed it tight. "You need to understand that it's okay to worry about others, but you need to worry about yourself right now because, remember, I'm going to drive you to breaking point." She said to me:
I nodded, but at the same time I can't really take this advice now. I need to think about how I got here, what happened to the others, and why I am in so much pain. I clearly am regenerating my body since I can feel a wound under my chest area.
"Give more thought to it while you learn how to improve your form." Moom said
"Okay, I will show you how my form can be perfect!" I told her
"I'll see it to believe it," she sighed.
I clutched my trident and tried to clear my mind. I need to get this down.
