Cutting Her Heart

Iroha pov: All of us kept talking about our world dominance plan, but Koyori looked so bored of everything that I grabbed onto her and looked her in the eyes.

"Laplus, may you excuse us? Koyori needs to use the bathroom, so I need to take her," I said.

"Sure." Laplus yawned.

"Yeah, go help her use the bathroom." Lui-nee said sarcastically that she knew too much.

"Lui-nee, can I help you use the bathroom?" Chloe asked

"Hell no..." Lui-nee said

I grabbed Koyori's hand and yanked her up, pulling her far enough away that they couldn't hear us.

"Iroha, through that long-winded Laplus speech, I realized something: I hate everything this world has to offer. I don't just want to dominate it; I want to destroy it." Koyori told me

"You hate everything?" I questioned

"I'm sure I do!" Koyori told me

I nodded Koyori has a lot to not look forward to; her family has way too many expectations for her, and she can't really take it. Her mother and father are both zealous in the fields of science, and yet time and time again Koyori fails. All her experiments and inventions have some flaw in them.

"Iroha, you are special to me, but I can't tell if one day you'll turn your back on me because if you follow me, I'll set you up for failure." Koyori sighed

"Koyori, I will follow you forever. If your final decision is to burn the world to the ground, I will serve you hand and foot till the end," I told her.

"Iroha, you can back out now. I won't make you my enemy. I'll spare you, and we can start anew on the ashes of the world," Koyori said.

"Yes, but even if you spare me at the end of it all, we will be together anyway, so why not let me fight with you? I want to lift some of your burden, and I don't want you to be alone, so please let me destroy everything with you if you hate everything as much as I do!" I told her

She looked at me, still unsure if she should involve me. It seemed like she wanted to tell me something.

"Iroha I don't hate you. I love you and the entire Holox family, but I had enough."

"Koyori, I know you've had enough of everything, and I don't want to see you sad. That's why I want to love you and help you put an end to everything that wronged you!" I told her

"This sounds edgy. Are you two going to kiss?" Lui-nee asked

"What are you doing here?" Koyori asked

"Just to watch you use the bathroom." Lui-nee said sarcastically:

"How much of that did you hear?" I asked

"All of it, but to be honest, I didn't hear anything new." Lui-nee said

"I don't want to have to kill you, so please stay out of this. All you guys can join us in the ashes of the world," Koyori said.

"I'm sorry, but I can't let you do this because Mumei-chan will suffer if that happens," Lui-nee said.

"Koyori, if you have a feeling like you don't want to go down this path anymore, don't worry; I'll cut down all your hatred in your heart and fill it with love, so please look deep inside yourself!" I told her

"Maybe I will change my mind," Koyori said.

"I won't interfere. I'm not mad about you feeling the way you do, but I will have to eventually stop you if you go down the wrong path." Lui-nee said

"Thank you, Lui. Give me about an hour. I'll come to my decision then," Koyori said.

"What decision?" Laplus asked as she showed up.

The three of us glared at her angrily for interrupting us and just being nosy.

"You don't need to know that," Lui-nee said to her.

"I'm here too!" Chloe stated

Lui-nee looked at Chloe and smiled a bit.
"Get ready; we are seeing Mumei-chan, and I want to go just in case she moves." Lui-nee said

"How do you know where she is?" I asked

"Tracker," Lui-nee said

I saw Koyori pondering something, and then she began to speak once she made up her mind about the thing.

"I'm coming with you," she stated, much to our shock.

"Sure, but why?" Lui-nee asked

"I think if I get to talk to Mumei-senpai then I'll be able to come up with my answer, and besides, I do like Mumei-senpai a lot and haven't really been able to talk to her," Koyori said.

"Okay, fine, but you better come to your conclusion quickly," Lui-nee said.

I knew this seemed like a good idea, but if Mumei-senpai says something Koyori doesn't like, that could make her want to destroy everything more. Lui-nee is really willing to put everything on the line for this; does she respect Koyori that much?

"I want to come!" Laplus cried out.

"No!" Koyori yelled at her.

Lui-nee shook her head and gave Laplus a thumbs up. "You can come." She offered

Koyori didn't seem to like that, but she was going to have to deal with it as long as she got to have the chat with Mumei-senpai.

I wanted to calm her down before we went just in case, so I walked up to her and softly pecked her lips. "I love you," I softly told her.

Lui-nee smirked at the two of us and laughed, "Next time, make it more cinematic!" Lui-nee giggled

Koyori and I began to laugh at that, leaving Chloe and Laplus confused; they didn't notice the kiss. The less the better, to be honest.

Lui-nee looked at Koyori before turning into her hawk form.

"Koyori, I can only carry Chloe and Laplus; use your inventions to fly Iroha and you," she said.

Koyori looked shocked. Lui-nee has faith in one of her inventions.

That seemed to make her happy.
