Miko pov: "Why can't I see Sora-chan!?" I yelled
"Because you'll get mad," Anemachi said.
"Mad at what!?" I screamed
"Sora and Azkichi's achievement..." Anemachi said
I saw Sui-chan walk back into the room, and she grabbed some ice cream out of the freezer. "Sui-chan, can I see?" I asked nicely, and she glared at me with a demonic stare. Her glance was enough to make my heart stop.
"No, you can't..." She hissed
"Can you at least give me some ice cream before you go?" I asked
"Sure, come here!" Sui-chan sweetly said
The moment I got close, she flicked her wrist, and a dagger fell out of her sleeve. She swung her arm, trying to slit my throat.
"What the hell, Sui-chan?" I yelled as I barely dodged the attack.
"This is for Toko-chan." She snarled
"You could have seriously hurt me!" I yelled
"That was the plan, so be a good girl, sit down, and stop complaining. You can't go see Sora-chan and Azki; they are at the convenience store." Sui-chan said
"Well, then I'm going there to see what's going on!" I shouted
"No, you aren't Sui-chan," she growled.
Anemachi walked up and whispered something into Sui-chan's ear. Whatever she said irked her, but she eventually nodded. She left the room and brought Toko back with her.
"We are going to collect Sora-chan and Azkichi." Sui-chan sighed
I was filled with excitement that they were including me now. We walked towards the door, and Nari stopped us.
"Darling, let me pat you down for weapons," she said.
"O-okay..." She said nervously:
As Nari patted her daughter down, she pulled out three knives: a sword. My eyes widened as a chainsaw fell out from under her shirt. There were also kunai, needles, and shuriken.
"That has to be everything!" I said
"Not even close," Nari said.
She continued to yank a comical amount of weapons out of Sui-chan's clothes. I was starting to think they were just coming out of thin air because there is no way she kept all of this in her shirt.
"Lift up your pants legs and shake them," Nari stated.
Sui-chan sighed and did as she was told, and weapons poured out of her pants. Eventually, they stopped.
"You really can fit all those in your shirt and pants?" I said in shock
"Correct," Sui-chan said.
"Toko-chan, can you be a sweetie and check her underwear and stuff?" Nari asked
"Yup," Toko said.
"Wait, there is no way in hell you fit weapons there!" I yelled
Toko grabbed Sui-chan's hand and led her into the nearby walk-in closet. All we heard was weapons hitting the ground, and about a minute later they came out.
"Can I at least keep my axe?" Sui-chan asked
"Yes, I'm not leaving you completely defenseless!" Nari said loudly
"Sui-chan, here you go," Toko said as she handed her the axe.
I reached out to touch the weapon, and Sui-chan immediately jumped back, glaring at me with intent to kill.
"Don't touch my darling's axe." Toko said
"Why not? It's just an axe!" I yelled
"It may be just an axe to you, but it's literally the thing that makes me happy. I used this axe in tough times and good times, and I won't let you touch it!" Sui-chan yelled
"Please, you are only not letting me touch it!" I yelled
"That isn't true; I only let family touch my weapons, Azki included, and Toko-chan can touch my axe but no one else." Sui-chan stated
I don't understand why she is like this, but all I know is that I'm going to touch that damn axe one way or another. I want to know what's so special about that damn weapon that she won't let most people touch it.
"Let's go," Sui-chan said.
We all walked outside, and I saw Sui-chan and Toko holding hands. Why do they have to do that in front of me? Are they mocking me?
I saw the axe strapped to Sui-chan, so I reached out for it, trying to grab it away from her. As soon as I almost grabbed it, she grabbed it herself and pointed it at my neck, pressing down enough that I could feel it.
"Don't you dare..." She snarled
I visibly began to sweat violently. She was going to actually kill me over and over. She needs help.
Toko hugged Sui-chan tightly, and that seemed to soothe her. She took a deep breath and calmed down.
"I'm not going to get mad again; if I do, then you'll regret it, Miko." Sui-chan harshly scoffed.
I nodded, and we continued walking. I didn't want to say or do anything out of line because if I did, Sui-chan would cut my head off with her axe, which I was sure was recently sharpened.
"Toko-chan, do you want something to eat?" Sui-chan asked
"Yeah, I wanted ice cream, but now we are on this endeavor," Toko said.
"I'll get you a popsicle," Sui-chan said.
"That'll do for a little bit," Toko happily said.
"We are stopping to get the popsicle first," Sui-chan said.
This irritated me because Sora-chan and Azkichi will leave the convenience store by the time we get there, all because we had to get this mutt a popsicle.
"Miko, what were you just thinking?" Sui-chan asked
I gulped. She somehow knew what I was thinking. I need to remember that I was told to never insult Toko or else.
"N-nothing!" I gasped
"You need to shut up and let us get the popsicle." Sui-chan scoffed
I nodded and shut my mouth. We got to a small shop, and Toko and Sui-chan went inside. About three minutes later, they came out with popsicles.
"Here you go," Sui-chan said as she handed me a popsicle.
She did think of me after all.
