Wake Up Call

Irys pov: I slowly opened my eyes as I regained consciousness. "She's awake!" Bae cried

"Sorry I passed out," I said, "but we still need to fight Calli."

"You really should rest first," Calli said.

"The sooner I get stronger, the sooner you see Kiara again!" I yelled

"That is true, but at the same time you are exhausted," Calli said. "Besides she's in no danger."

"Calli, I'm fine, I promise!" I tried to convince her, but Towa and Kanata made me lie down again.

"You shouldn't push yourself." Ayame-senpai restated

"I keep telling you I'm fine; I don't need rest!" I yelled

"We aren't going to say this again. Stay in bed." Towa sternly said

"Calli, what if I said I was going to cut off Kiara's arm? Would you fight me then?" I asked

"Threatening me, huh?" Calli sighed

"Yes, whatever it takes to get stronger!" I said

"To be honest, I think this is the only way to make her stop," Calli said.

"So you are going to fight her. I don't think she can survive this!" Bae said loudly

"Well, Ayame did say she needed to feel death." Sister Reap pointed out

"Fine, the fight can happen, but Calli, just so you know, you have gained two power boosts, so please make sure to hold back. You are capable of so much now." Ayame-senpai said

"Got it," Calli said as she summoned Ricky and spun it around.

We went back to the sectioned-off area in the kitchen where we faced off. I summoned my twin blades immediately. "Be careful," Calli pleaded.

"I know, let's just get the show on the road!" I said

Calli ran at me and passed me without striking because she saw that I couldn't dodge the attack, which frustrated me. She was taking pity on me, so I went on the offensive, but tripped a bit, so she dodged my attack.

"Be careful, your wounds will open up again," Calli warned.

"I'll be fine." I stated

"No, they won't be." Calli sighed

"Don't push yourself!" Bae yelled

"I am not Bae, please let me focus; I can't lose it for a second if I do then Calli will cut me in half!" I yelled

"Irys, I won't go for the attack unless I'm sure you can dodge it," Calli told me.

"Stop pitying me, damn it!" I yelled

"I'm not; I just don't want you to get hurt!" Calli yelled

"I need to for Bae's sake," I stated.

Calli mumbled something to herself and vanished in thin air, appearing behind me and slicing open my back. She just stood there with a sorrowful look.

"Ayame-senpai I don't think this is going to work. Calli said sadly

"Yeah, neither do I." She said, "Irys is already not in the condition to do this, and she's now pushing her body's limits." She continued to say:

"Come on, quit doubting me." "I'm perfectly fine if I start to bleed out; that'll only help towards this!" I shouted

"Irys, how can you protect Bae in your condition?" Calli asked

"What are you saying?" I asked

Calli walked over to Bae, hitting her in the stomach and making her fall over.

"Sorry, Bae, no hard feelings." Calli sighed

"What are you doing?" I questioned

Calli lifted her foot over Bae's head, getting ready to stomp.

"Calli!" Mama Mori yelled, "You wouldn't dare!" She said

"Look, if this helps me see Kiara faster, I don't care!" She yelled as she began to slam her foot down.

I ran up to her and tackled her as hard as I could, slamming her against a wall. She grabbed my arm, throwing me to the side. I slid on the ground, feeling my wounds open up once again, but I stood up anyways.

"Stay down," she said as she kicked me in the face, knocking me back down, and raised her leg for an axe kick.

"Calli, be gentle!" Towa yelled

"No, Calli, keep kicking me while I'm down," I said.

"Irys, are you a fucking masochist?" Calli questioned

"The pain is beginning to feel good." Calli "I'll beat you, so keep fighting me as hard as you can!" I pleaded

"You have issues," Calli said.

"Nope, you can't prove that I do," I said.

"Irys, stand up." Calli sighed

I barely managed to push myself up and summon my blades again. I threw my demon blade at her, and she deflected it, so while she wasn't paying attention, I ran in and stabbed her in the abdomen. She just glared at me like she didn't feel anything.

"Irys, you need to try harder than that." Calli said as she backhanded me.

"Okay, Calli, this is a bit much." Kanata said

"Wait, she fucking asked for this; let them see this through until the end," Coco-senpai said.

"Yeah, but hear me out-she'll die!" Towa yelled

"If that happens, then you can scold me all you want." I wheezed

"That's unorthodox!" Kanata commented

"Yes, but this is a fight, so that's understandable." Calli-senpai is preparing me for a real battle where Bae is in danger! I yelled

"Yeah, that's true, so come at me unless you want to see Bae get hurt!" Calli-senpai laughed

"Jeez, why are you so good at playing the villain?" Sister Reap asked.

"Just let her go with it; I'm sure she has a lot of pent-up aggression; remember, she used to break every toy she's had," Mama Mori said.

"Well, besides the ones she only somewhat liked," Sister Reap said.

"That didn't really make sense, but it's true," Mama Mori said.

"You are embarrassing me!" Calli-senpai shouted

"Aren't you supposed to be acting like the big bad?" Coco-senpai asked

"Hahaha, you are all so funny!" Ayame-senpai giggled as she rolled around on the ground.

"You are something else," I said.

Then I realized Calli hadn't removed the blade yet, as she slowly pulled it out and healed quickly.

"Let's take five; we'll continue this after I take a quick nap," she stated as she went to the living room couch and laid down.

"I really need a strategy." I muttered to myself as I thought about how to defeat my senpai.
