Running To The Scene

Kiara pov: I can't believe we are going to be in combat again.

"My fucking back kind of hurts," Calli said.

"From what?" I questioned

"From Ayame-senpai kicking my ass..." Calli commented

"Wait what?" I asked.

"Oh yeah, Ayame-senpai beat the shit out of me and then sliced me into a bunch of pieces," Calli said.

"Babe, how about you don't let that happen today?" I said

"I can't promise you that," Calli sighed.

"To be honest, I don't want you to get hurt, so you should stand back," I told Calli.

She glared at me and sighed. "That's my line," she stated.

We both wanted to protect one another, but obviously our wants couldn't really mesh here.

"Actually, I watch your back; you watch mine," I said.

"That could work, but you also need to stay in the back, out of sight and danger," Calli said.

Arguing won't help us; it will just split us apart, but we need to figure this situation out since neither of us wants the other to be hurt. We are both trying to be noble, but it isn't really coming off like that.

"Let's just go," I said.

The two of us continued to speed off, and I had a horrible feeling that Reine had jumped into the battle even though Mumei told her not to. I don't want her to get hurt again; this can't be a new thing.

I slowed down a bit, stared at Calli, and just had some thoughts.

"You really have a lot of personality," I told her.

"Kiara, stop looking at my ass!" Calli hissed

"Hey, you are my girlfriend; I can do whatever the fuck I want, damn it!" I said

"Whatever, if you say that, then you have to let me look at yours!" Calli yelled

"What was that, Calli?" I asked

"N-nothing!" She yelled

"Damn, I was hoping you would repeat yourself, Calli," I said.

"God damnit, I fucking love how you say my name." Calli mumbled

"Calli?" I said

I noticed her face had turned red after all the things we have done. One of her weak points is me saying her name specifically. That's honestly cute.

"Calli, Calli, Calli, Calli, Calliope Mori, Kawaiiope Moe," I teased.

"Ugh, Kiara, my heart can't take it." Calli groaned

I smirked and decided to keep teasing her, making her more and more flustered. She didn't know what to say to me, which made me really happy.

"You really are so cute, Calli," I giggled.

"I'm going to kiss you." She said it in a threatening tone.

"Don't threaten me with a good time, babe," I told her.

"Kiaraaaaaa!" Calli whined

"Calli, I want another kid," I told her.

This sent Calli over the edge; her face went completely red, and she faceplanted into a tree.

"C-Calli!?" I said in shock

"Ima good Wewa..." Calli groaned

I ran over and picked her up.

"I won't tease you a lot," Kiara said.

"No, please, I like being teased," she said.

"Okay, then I'll do it some more." I laughed.

"Kiara, I'll think about having another baby with you later." Calli said

"Calli, but I'm already pregnant!" I told her

"W-what, when, where, how!" Calli asked

"I'm joking, Calli..." I said

"Don't say stuff like that; I don't know how to react!" Calli whined

I giggled She really is just an adorable girl; her cuteness knows no bounds. She just presents herself as a tough girl, but she is just a huge softie.

"You probably should tense up, Calli," I told her.

"R-right and act tough!" She said

"By the way, Calli, you sound too relaxed," I mentioned.

Calli realized that she was using her natural voice, the one she uses around me; it is soft and flirtatious, and she shouldn't use this tone with anyone else.

Calli summoned Ricky and took a deep breath. "I'm ready to kill a fucker!" She yelled

"Well, then let's continue on our way; we wasted two minutes," I sighed.

"Yeah, let's hope none of our friends have been beaten," Calli said.

"I have high hopes for them, but to be honest, the fact that this is a ten on the danger scale can't be good, and you can sense that powerful presence," I said.

Calli agreed with my words, but she couldn't help but think even we aren't enough. She knows how much Mumei has been looking forward to a break, so she doesn't want to involve her if she has to.

"Do you think Kobo and Clara are okay?" Calli asked

"Mumei is there to watch them," I said.

"What about Irys?" Calli asked

"What about Irys?" I repeated it condensingly.

Calli laughed and smirked. "It doesn't matter," she giggled.

We are getting closer; the pressure is getting more and more heavy. This didn't really feel good, but we have to push on. We got to the edge of the forest and entered quickly, approaching them, and as we got there, the first thing we saw was Bae, who was unconscious.

To be honest, I didn't really care about that part. I saw Reine and Zeta fighting.

"Reine!" I yelled, getting her attention.

"Sorry Kiara I'm going to tap out now!" Reine said

"No, you don't!" The alternate dimension Ame yelled before kicking Reine away.

"You little shit!" I yelled

I rushed her and slammed into her, pushing her into the forest. Zeta ran up behind me but confused me because she was wearing Mumei's cloak.

"You ok, Watson?" Calli asked

"You know I've been better," Ame groaned.

"You should probably stay in the back, and have you been bleeding from your eyes?" I asked

"Yes..." She abruptly said

Calli and I got in front, waiting for the enemy to return, and she eventually did, glaring at us and not saying a word.

Gura quickly briefed us on everything that was going on.

This situation is annoying since we can't risk opening another portal; we just have to kill this version.
