Kiara pov: "do you feel better?" I questioned

"Yes, I do," Mumei stated.

We walked down the room some more. I flicked Pomu off my shoulder since she was listening in.

"Mumei, are you actually mad?" I asked

"No, of course not, but I have a weird feeling in my chest-something that I can't let go of." She told me

I turned myself to face her, and I punched her in the face, saying, "Ouchi!" She commented

"Are you mad at me for punching you?" I questioned

"No.," Mumei told me.

"Then think about how you feel about Selena some more," I told her.

She stood there, giving it some thought, and then she spoke again. "she just makes me mad" she stated

"Why is that?" I questioned

"Well, she purposely antagonized me," Mumei sighed.

"For what purpose?" That question threw her off; she stood perplexed by my words.

"Yes, for what purpose..." She said softly, "Is it similar to Ollie, who wants acknowledgement?"

"Maybe she wants you to notice her again; it has been awhile since you've talked," I explained.

"Iofi-senpai is kind of right." "I was mad at her for not joining council with me, and I disregarded her all of a sudden, and then I didn't know what to say to her afterward." She explained

"She wants to talk now," I said softly.

"I don't know if I have the means to be able to talk to her now." Mumei told me

"Look, Mumei, I was able to talk to Calli again after four months; she had something to say to me, so calm down and think carefully about what you want to say to Selen," I told her.

"This is so hard to think about!" She yelled

"Mumei, what's wrong?" Fauna asked as she ran up to Mumei.

"Yeah, why did you yell?" Kronii asked, "Do you have a headache?" She asked

"No, I'm fine," she told them. "Wait, I could talk to Selen about my wives..." Mumei said

"Yes, and you can tell her about me, Lui-nee, Reine, and Subaru-senpai," I said.

"I could, but what if she doesn't want to listen?" Mumei asked

"Don't worry, she will listen, and then when you are done, maybe she'll tell you about her life as well," I said softly.

"Do you think we will be able to relate anymore since we've been apart for so long?" Mumei sighed.

"Pomu and I are on good terms despite the time apart. You should just talk to her," I said.

"That's you, Kiara, you are perfect." Mumei told me

"I'm not perfect, and you are, Mumei," I told her.

"Kiara, do you think that talking could fix our relationship?" I asked

"See how far talking is getting you here, just sit Selen down and spill your feelings like this, you aren't a complete stranger to her," I said.

"We may as well be..." She sighed

"Don't talk like that, Mumei." I said

"Sorry Kiara I'm just worried about going out of control again one day." Mumei explained

"Don't be worried; if you do lose control, I will be there to stop you; I will be your crutch," I told her calmly.

"You are a great sister." Mumei told me

"I wouldn't say that the best day of my life was when I met you," I said.

"Don't say that, but you are always happy when you talk to me," Mumei said.

"Remember how I used to vent about Calli and you did that with Selen?" I said

"I don't want to seem annoying," I stated.

"You won't be annoying, please don't say that, Mumei," I sighed.

"Okay, I won't say that," I told her.

"Evaluate where you two are at, and then you can come to terms with one another once again!" I said

"You would make a good therapist," Mumei said.

"Well, I'm good with talking to my sister," I explained.

"Well, talking to you always makes me feel better," Mumei said.

"Even though I don't get some of the things you do, I will always support you!" I said

"Kiara, thank you. I feel like this is the second time we are having this talk," Mumei said.

"It kind of is, but it isn't your fault that the world dealt you this hand; you just need to push through," I said.

"Yes, the strong always persevere," Mumei said to me.

"Do you think you are ready to talk to Selen again?" I asked

"I'll give it a shot," Mumei said while biting her lip.

"I'll be with you, don't worry," I said softly.

"Okay, then follow me!" Mumei said

"You did well, Kiwawa," Pomu told me.

"I'll get on your case next, Pomu, since you have a lot of problems." I said

Her face went blank in response to my question, "Is that an insult?" She asked

"Yes," I said abruptly.

"Wow, I gave you a compliment!" Pomu pouted

I giggled and shook my head. I needed to focus on Mumei right now, not Pomu and her odd love life.

"Kiara, are you coming?" Mumei asked

"Yeah!" I yelled while speeding up. I sensed Fauna and Kronii were close behind, and the faint energy of Zeta around as I caught up to Mumei.

"Can you sense Zeta?" I asked

"Yup!" Mumei said.

"Aren't you going to shoo her away?" I asked

"No, I don't want to look pathetic in front of her; if I turned her away, I'd look like a coward," Mumei said.

I was happy. Mumei finally wants to face part of herself and make amends with Selen, even if it's only part of her and the more dangerous part has yet to come. I'll smile through it.

As long as I'm there, I won't let anything happen, and I promise that

"Mumei, maybe you should start the conversation," I suggested.

"Okay, I'll try," she said.

As we slowly began to approach Selen, I couldn't help but wonder what Calli is doing right now and hope she is okay.
