Koyori pov: The two of us finished eating at the Yakiniku place, and I skipped out happy as can be. "Slow down," Iroha said.
I looked back and saw we had some distance between us. Okay," I told her softly.
There was a giant crash in front of us, and someone glared at us as the smoke cleared. I saw who it was but didn't recognize the middle-aged man who emerged from the smoke. "It's good to see you, Koyori," the man said.
"Do I know you?" I asked and cocked my head to the side to size him up.
The man shook his head. "You don't know who I am; you can call me Yagoo," he stated.
"Yagoo?" Iroha said he was confused by the alias he gave.
I glared at the man suspiciously and asked, "What do you want?" I asked him
The man's face lit up as I asked him that, and he cleared his throat. "You see, I am trying to take over the world for reasons, and I need power. I have heard you share the same desires as me," he explained.
"Ah, so you are proposing a little team-up?" I questioned
The man nodded. "Yes, there are some girls I need you to dispose of," he stated.
"Look, I know you need Sora-senpai, Azki-senpai, Roboco-senpai, Suisei-senpai, and Miko-senpai out of the way, but I refuse to work with you," I stated.
"What? But you need power; I can give you power!" Yagoo yelled at me.
I laughed at his statement since he couldn't be more wrong. "All I need is Iroha," I said.
He seemed dumbfounded that I would deny his plea for help, but I know he has kept failing. I need to get this right the first time, or else.
"You are really going to ditch me for a weak blonde samurai woman who is the opposite of you; she has no brains; all she has is muscle!" Yagoo said
"Iroha may be only that, but I love her. You don't understand what she means to me; all you know is that I only want her help when it comes to my plan." I said
"Well, then I have to make you join me by force." Yagoo growled
"You can try, but I won't join you because you want world dominance, which is so last century," I scoffed.
"When you rule the world, you can get whatever you want. Who doesn't want world dominance?" Yagoo asked
"You don't actually want that something got into your head that has changed you because I can tell you aren't an evil man." I said
"Shut up. You know nothing about me!" He yelled and began to run at me, and I smirked, sending out a bunch of nanobots, who latched onto him and stopped his movement.
"So simple-minded an attack like that is easily readable, and besides, you can't force people to join you," I said.
"Yeah, love is required!" Iroha added
"Love?" Yagoo said.
Computer, can you analyze his brain?" I asked
Iroha walked up to me and hugged me from behind. "What's happening?" She asked
One of the nanobots flew towards me and grew into a printer. It printed out a document that I took, making the bot shrink right after I glanced at the piece of paper.
"He just ate a parasitic mushroom." I said
Well, what do we do then?" Iroha questioned
"We need to get all the mini parasites out of his body, but why do I care?" I asked
"Fair point, but maybe getting rid of him would be less of a problem for us later," Iroha suggested.
"Or... Nana bots commence energy draining," I said.
The nanobots stuck into his body and began to drain all of his power out of it. I was going to harness this for later.
"What are you doing!" Yagoo screamed
"Energy draining..." I sighed
He got angry at that simple answer. "I know that, but what does that entail?" He asked
"She is draining all your energy, leaving you just a husk. Who cares?" Iroha asked
"Since I'm so nice, I'm leaving you with a sixth of your power." I laughed.
The energy draining ended, and the nanobots flew off. He fell to the ground, trying to move.
"Iroha, we have a new source of power." I laughed.
"Then let's get to using it!" Iroha cheered
"You give that back," Yagoo gasped.
"Give what back?" I asked
"My-My power..." he wheezed.
"Power is a constant anyone can have; you aren't special for having power, besides Koyori needs this power for personal needs," Iroha said.
"That is correct. I won't let anyone get in my way, not the gods nor someone like you," I said.
"Do you understand what you are doing?" Yagoo asked
"Yes, our revolution is near," I stated.
"I will have to stop you before you can do something so stupid." Yagoo said as he managed to stand.
"Look, get in our way if you want, but I will stop you no matter what for Koyori. I hope you understand that there is no stopping us." Iroha said
"The whole world you are willing to take everyone on alone!" Yagoo yelled
"You are mistaken. I'm not alone, and I haven't been. I don't need everyone's support as long as there are people who trust me and care for me in the end." I stated
"Let's go back to the others!" Iroha said to me:
"Okay," I said softly. I reached out and held Iroha's hand tightly.
"This is where you two were..." Lui-nee said as she showed up with Chloe and a conscious Laplus
I looked back and saw Yagoo was gone. Yeah, we were just talking," I said.
"About what exactly you told me, Iroha," Lui-nee said.
"Just about how good our Yakiniku was!" She said
"Wait, you went to Yakiniku without me!" Laplus yelled
I didn't answer, but I walked forward and smiled with them, knowing that my dream would be attainable.
I felt the nanobots crawl back into a small cube that went into my pocket. All this power is now mine.
"Iroha, tell me if there is anything you don't want to do," I suddenly said.
She looked at me and smiled. "I know," she said.
The first step is good communication. I don't want to hurt her.
