Koyori pov: World dominance, wanting to destroy everything, revolution-those things are in my mind. I want them more than ever. My dark emotions have been coming out more and more, but there is one thing that is the light at the end of the tunnel.
"Koyori, we're still discussing," Iroha sang.
"Sorry, I'm just thinking," I mentioned to her.
"Why are you so lost in thought that you are in a trance during our quick Holox meeting?" Iroha asked
"Someone has to be the brains, Iroha; it's definitely not you." I laughed. She began to process the insult and then eventually responded, "Hey!" She shouted in anger.
"Sorry!" I said frantically as she grabbed her sword in a blind fury.
"Stop having a lover's quarrel." Laplus scoffed
"You are acting like you knew you two were dating for a while." Chloe mumbled
"What? I've always known I am always paying attention to you all!" Laplus yelled in annoyance.
"Okay, what is my name?" Chole asked
"Does it start with a K? "Actually, I'll just say Sakamata!" Laplus said
"Fine, you pass with the last name..." Chloe sighed
"We need to solve our money problem!" Lui shouted, "In order to break our pointless bickering, we all turned and glared at her. How should we get money?" She questioned, only to be hit by silence.
"Sorry, but none of us are good in this department," Chloe said.
"Chloe I know you aren't, and that's why I am not making you come up with ideas," Lui said.
"I have an idea, but you'll have to hear me out. Let's sell illegal narcotics!" I suggested
"So drugs?" Chloe said
"Look, if you want to say it like an idiot, go ahead, but I have a sophisticated tongue and I need to be illiterate as such," I said.
"Babe, stop it; you sound like a jackass." Iroha sighed
"That honestly will work; however, my sister is a police officer in her spare time, and we'll be busted in no time," Lui said.
"Wait, Mumei is a cop!" Laplus yelled, causing us to face palm.
"Subaru-senpai!!!" Chloe yelled
"Yes, yes, I knew that, Sakamata, so get off my damn back!" Laplus yelled in response like the kusogaki she is.
"How about we sell some of the inventions Koyori has already made?" Iroha offered
"That could work, but at the same time, they're mostly defective," Lui said.
"So we have them sign a contract that says no refunds before, and then if they try to sue, we just cut them up!" Iroha cheerfully said:
"Spoken like a true ninja!" Chloe said
Iroha grabbed her sword and began to chase Chloe around with it.
"Any ideas, leader?" Lui asked as she turned to the horned girl.
"Yes, how about we manufacture money?" Laplus said
"Okay, I'm glad you said something that is actually plausible, but we physically can't do that because we don't have the money to make it or pay someone to make it." Lui said
"Well, we just lie and say we do!" Laplus said
"We may as well rob a bank at that point!" Lui yelled
"Ughh-this is going nowhere!" I hissed
"Go and collect your girlfriend; we'll keep thinking." Lui said
I nodded and stood up, walking over to Iroha and grabbing her by the arm. I walked away from the group with her.
"What do you need?" Iroha asked
"I need to just breathe because these people are irritating me. How can I start a revolution if these people don't make it easy for me? We need money, but we can't decide on a deal. We need power, but we can't decide on how to do that. Why are we so dysfunctional?!" I growled
"Look, Koyori, when we get this all sorted out, the world will be under your feet, so let's just bear with it. They're our family after all, and Holox is our home, so let's just bear with it," Iroha said.
I swiftly pulled her in, pressing my lips to hers, much to her shock, before suddely lying and pushing her away. "Sorry..." I stated while trying to sound distant.
"Look, Koyori, I can tell by your tone you want to push me away, but I won't have it. We both agreed on this path; we'll take the world and make it into our own design!" Iroha said
"You seem really devoted to me; I don't get it," I stated.
"Do I need a reason to love you?" She asked me
"No..." I replied.
"Then shut up; the world will be ours; that is Holox's plan, but at the same time, the world will be yours and only yours!" Iroha said
Her confidence in me is a little misguided. I've changed my thoughts. I know what's in store for me going down this path, and I am thinking maybe if I can make her opt out of this, then I won't have to worry about her in the future. I'll be making all of Council and the gods my enemies, and all of humanity will be after me, and yet she still insists she wants to stick with me through thick and thin. I'm flattered, but at the same time I'm frustrated.
"Maybe," I sighed.
Iroha laughed a little. "Are you going soft on me?" She asked
"No, it's just that I don't want you to get hurt!" I said
"That is literally my job; you know I'm a bodyguard after all," Iroha pointed out.
"Fair enough, but I still don't want to see you get hurt!" I said
"Urk, then how am I supposed to bodyguard you?" She asked me
"Just don't get hurt!" I replied
"That is easier said than done, you know!" Iroha yelled back.
"Oh, come on, you just don't have to get hit; it's not difficult!" I said
"In a fight, it is!" She retorted
"Let's not fight amongst ourselves after all; we are only joking right now, but soon it won't be playful," I admitted.
"That is a good idea," she agreed.
We both went back to the group, hopefully to actually get further in our plan.
