Fauna pov: I was exhausted mentally; usually Mumei would cheer me up, but obviously that isn't going to happen. My friend wasn't the same, even if it was taking over my beloved's body; it just isn't Mumei at all.

"What's wrong, Fauna?" Kronii asked as she breathed on my neck, making me shiver.

"Do you think we will be able to get Mumei back?" I asked.

Kronii hugged me from behind, resting her head on my shoulder. "I do," she told me.

I felt Kronii lift up strands of my hair, and she put them to her face. "You smell good," she said.

"There is no second part to that." I questioned

"Of course there is, I'm perfect. You are close though!" Kronii laughed

"Shut up..." I told her as I turned to her, sitting on her lap and looking at her face-to-face.

Kronii rolled her eyes. "You can't tell me what to do..." She scoffed

"You are beautiful," I whispered.

"WHAT!?" She shouted

I leaned down and pressed my lips to hers. "Phh!" She went into shock. I pulled away and smirked at her.

"I said you were beautiful," I said.

"You are too." Kronii stated not being able to look into my eyes.

I licked my lips as I saw an opening. I moved my head down and bit her neck, "Faun-ahn!" She cried. I pulled away and licked the spot on her neck that I had bit softly.

"You are mine, Kronii." I said

"You are so possessive!" Kronii stated

"Of course I love you after all, and since Mumei isn't around, I have to make use of my other girl," I told her.

Kronii didn't say anything in response; her brain was trying to actively process my words.

"What's wrong lost for words?" I whispered into her ear, making her shiver.

"I-love you..." She said she's still not looking at me.

"Look at me when you speak to me." I told her to move her chin so she would stare at me.

I moved down to kiss her once again, but I was blocked as Friend put Mumei's hand in front of our faces.

"Can I join in?" Friend asked

"Look, just because you are in our wife's body doesn't mean you are her." Kronii stated

"That's not fair, Mumei really took too many cute girls and didn't leave anything for me!" Friend shouted

"You are a paper bag," Kronii said.

"Yeah, you really aren't anything special." I told it

"Hey, just because I'm paper doesn't mean I'm not cool!" Friend said

"Can I please kiss my other wife in peace?" I asked

"Nope, I'll watch!" Friend said

Kronii and I looked at each other and sighed. It's not even Mumei talking; this is a mood killer.

We both stood up and yanked the paper bag off Mumei's head.

"My soul is still in the body!" Friend said

"At least you can't tamper with that cute face," Kronii said.

"Uuuu,if it did then I'd literally pull the spirit out and kill it!" I said

"Why are you so attached to Mumei?" Friend asked

"She's mine..." I said, "Coldly."

"Eh?" A friend said in shock, "She doesn't belong to anyone!" It said

"Wrong Mumei is mine. " I scowled

"Don't argue with Fauna about that," Kronii said.

"Why do you get to be with Mumei!?" A friend asked Kronii

"Kronii is mine as well." I hissed

"How possessive!" Kronii said happily.

"You two are freaky." Friend commented

We aren't really trying to market ourselves to a pathetic creature my beloved made back in the day when she first was placed on the planet; she doesn't even like this thing.

"You are freaky. Where did you come from?" Kronii asked me

"I finally got out of the council room closet and flew here!" A friend told us

"I wish you stayed..." I sighed

"Look, I came out okay." Friend asked.

I looked at Kronii, waiting for a joke, but nothing. "Aren't you going to tell a funny joke?" I asked

"Oh, sorry, babe, I wasn't listening," Kronii said.

"Uuuuuu...." I kind of cringed at her calling me babe.

"Was that too much?" She asked

"No, it wasn't, baby," I said.

The two of us laughed, and Friend glared at us, "I'm leaving..." It commented as soon as it left Sana and approached us.

"You really had fun, Faufau," she laughed.

"Of course I'm not letting a Mumei wannabe hit on my property." I said

"That is her body," Sana said.

"It is her body, but that body also belongs to nature," I said.

"Well, technically, that would be true if a soul wasn't in it," Sana said.

"I wonder what happened to Omega," Ame asked.

"Who knows, but we really aren't ready to face her again." Gura sighed

"We will be ready." "I assume we are on the clock anyways; we need to get Momei back," Ina said.

"We will get Mumei back as soon as one more person comes back here. " Kiara growled

"Wawa, please calm down." Calli said

"Okay Calli!" Kiara cooed as she hugged her.

"You are cute," Calli giggled.

Those two seemed to be in good spirits right now. I decided I shouldn't be hung up on Mumei right now since Kronii is in front of me; she's perfect right now since Mumei isn't here.

"By the way, Sana, where is Bae?" I asked

"I don't know Faufau," Sana said.

"Bae and Irys are at Kanata-senpai's," Calli said.

"Wait, isn't Kanata-senpai technically our mom?" Kiara asked

"This family is fucked." Calli sighed

"Fucked!" Kobo and Clara copied

"I'm going to overlook this one because I agree... Kiara said

I gave it some thought. I seriously can't wrap my head around this family; there are so many branches due to relationships that I don't even know if what the two of them said is right.

"Fauna and Kronii are technically our sisters," Kiara said.

"If you legally become related, that is," Kronii said.

This family tree is so complicated that I'm not taking credit for it; after all, civilization planted it. This really made me miss Mumei more.
