One and Only

Gura pov: "Amelia!"  I yelled as I chased after the blonde woman deeper into the forest. She wouldn't slow down. She wouldn't even look at me. "Amelia, stop!" I yelled

I ran as hard as I could and lunged at her as soon as she was in range. I bit down on her shoulder and said, "Gaaah!" She screamed as we both fell to the ground. She didn't even care that I was biting her; she just tried to crawl away.

As she realized that wasn't possible, she kicked me off of her and scurried up.

"Stop it!"  I hissed

I reached out and grabbed her leg, making her fall over and hitting her face on a nearby rock. I thought she would be unconscious, but she wasn't. She turned her body around to show that her head was dripping blood.

"Gura..."  She growled  With her other foot, she began to continuously kick my face, saying, "Let go!" She pleaded

"What happened to the fearless Amelia?" I asked

"I'm being hunted; I need to run and hide before I'm killed!" Amelia yelled

"Ame, I'll protect you from anything you have to face, not that I think you are in any danger; other people must have been playing a prank on you," I told her.

"You say that, but you didn't see how much pain she was in; she looked as if she were suffering; she didn't want to go!" I was told

I couldn't argue with that, but the body is gone, including the tracker they had, so there is no way that a hunter could find us, even if there is a hunter.

"Don't worry, please," I said to her.

She managed to pull her legs away and began to run. I could tell adrenaline was masking all the pain she would be in.

"Stop Amelia!"  I yelled

I picked up the rock that had cut open her head and threw it at her. It hit the ground under her, causing her to trip again, letting me catch up. I grabbed her and held her in a submission hold.

"We're going back..." I told her

"Let go of me, fuck off!" Amelia screamed. She managed to push me away again, but this time she got on top of me and began to choke me, "Leave me alone!" She yelled

She was blinded by fear, and this made her lash out against me.

"A—Amelia..."  I gagged

"Do you like this, huh?" She asked

I was confused as to why she would say this, but I was trying not to talk since I couldn't breathe and that would get rid of the little air I had left.

"I asked if you liked this!" She screamed

I felt bad for doing this, but I had to in order to bring her to her senses. I swung my arm upward and punched her in the face to knock her off of me.

"You hit me! I'm your girlfriend!" She cried

"You were choking me out..." I panted while regaining my breath.

Amelia crawled over to me and elbowed me in the face; my nose began to bleed, so this is how she wants to play it.

"You shy detective..." I calmly said as I grabbed her face and slammed her head into the ground, "Hear me out!" I yelled

"Gura just let me hide..." Amelia cried

She found a jagged rock and jabbed it into my stomach, "urk..." I went into agony, but I didn't let go of her. "I don't want to hurt you," I panted.

"Then let me run!" She yelled

She grabbed my hoodie and pulled it over my eyes before throwing me off of her.

She tried to scurry away, but before she could run, I bit into her left leg, making it so she could only limp.

"Gura!"  She yelled as she turned around and got ready to stomp on me.

Before she could, two tentacles shot at us and wrapped around us.

"Stop it, you two." Ina told us She had a serious look on her face.

"What the fuck are you two doing!?" Calli asked

"Fighting won't solve anything!" Kiara commented

"Shut up..."  Amelia growled

"This isn't about yourself, is it? You heard the other you mention how she doesn't have a Gura, and this is worrying you, right?" Ina asked

"Quit acting like you understand why I am upset!" Watson cried

"I get it. If anything happened to Kiara, even if it wasn't in this dimension, I would be angry," Calli said.

"Says the woman who has killed her countless times..." Watson growled

"You hurt Gura now too, did you not?" Kiara asked

Amelia looked at me and saw blood dripping out of the area she stabbed with the rock. "I didn't want to hurt her...." She said her head had finally cleared up.

"Come back with us; stop worrying, please." I told her

She somberly looked to the ground and sighed, "I don't want to lose you," she told me.

She was fearful for her own life but also mine. I was touched, but at the same time, we can't be afraid this late in the game.

"Amelia, have you noticed that I've been calling you that recently?" I asked

"Y—yeah..."  She told me

"We aren't a couple of morons... well, we are, but we aren't going at this half assed!" I said

"We fought a literal God, so why would an interdimensional bounty hunter be a threat?" Ina asked

"It's all for one and one for all," Calli stated.

"The five of us can handle anything," Kiara said.

"Can we really?" Amelia asked

"Yes, we can. Why can't we?" I asked

She looked at me with tears in her eyes, not knowing what to say to that.

"We need to look forward." Amelia, all of us do, we can't just be stuck on the past or things that are yet to come," I said.

"Gura, let's go back," Amelia softly said.

All of a sudden, she passed out, and then I remembered we both had been losing a lot of blood. I smiled as I fell over and passed out as well.
