Writing New Rules

Chloe pov: We all stood there by Koyori as she laughed hysterically as more and more towns and cities were made into ruins.

"Koyori, we should probably talk more about the laws we will make when I'm in power," Laplus said.

Koyori kept laughing, ignoring what she was told. Iroha hugged her firmly.

Koyori, shouldn't we be thinking about new laws for Laplus?" She asked

Koyori looked at Iroha and smiled. "Yes, let's do that." She said gently:

"By the way, Koyori, since your father is dead, will you now lessen the destruction?" Lui asked.

"Of course, I'm only going to leave three places in the world in tact," She said.

"As opposed to what?" I asked

"Only one," Koyori responded.

We all fell silent, not knowing what to say after that, but eventually Laplus actually broke the silence.

"So what should the first law be?" She asked

"No baths!" I yelled

"No, but I've been thinking that we should actually make people pay to take baths; we need to make money somehow," Koyori said.

That does seem like a good idea, and plus, it is meeting me halfway. We can't get rid of baths entirely, so we will at least limit them for other people.

"What other laws should we really follow?" I asked

Koyori gave it some thought and sighed.

"Maybe at first we should keep it simple and not go overboard; we should at least try to get some support," She said.

That is a fair point. We aren't trying to have a revolt immediately; we aren't ready for a full-scale war. That's why Koyori is trying to support the masses in a particular war.

"So what about taxes?" Lui asked

"Honestly, we will get rid of them for a while, but once people get used to not having them, we'll bring them back," Koyori said.

"How about a law that people must submit mayonnaise to you every month?" Iroha said.

"Genius, write it down!" Koyori said

What else can we do for laws or just common rules? We can do whatever we want. Holox deserves to do whatever we want. We deserve this for everything we have done.

"Personally, I want us to have statues!" Laplus said

"Write it down!" Lui sighed

"What else do we want other than to have the world under our boot? What is it specifically that makes any of you want revenge?" Koyori asked

"No, not necessarily," Lui said.

We looked at her, wondering what she meant by that. She had a determined look on her face, like she meant it. She actually has someone she may want revenge on, but who?

"Let's make the world into our image and show all the haters that Holox deserves to rule!" Lui said

Koyori was shocked by the sudden change in attitude but was also happy that Lui was taking her side more. Now that we all agree with her, she doesn't have to do this all alone like she thought.

"You all make me so happy. I'm glad you helped me get my revenge, and now you are helping with my revolution!" Koyori said

"Don't worry about it; we are a team, right?" Laplus said

"Anyone who is mean to Koyori gets instant jail time for life; write that down!" Iroha pleaded

Laplus was a bit skeptical about writing it down because Iroha convinced her by pointing her katana at her. Koyori kissed Iroha to make her ease up.

I looked at Lui, wanting her to kiss me, but she pushed me away from her, sticking her tongue out at me teasingly.

"You won't kiss me," She said.

I began to pout at the fact that she was suddenly teasing me. Why does she have to act like this all of a sudden?

"You should be nicer to Sakamata," Laplus said to Lui.

Lui looked at her with surprise and said, "This is the first time you didn't just immediately side with me!" She said this in shock.

Laplus didn't realize that she didn't side with Lui there and began to try to backtrack; unfortunately for her, we all heard her say what she wanted to do, so she can't hide it at all.

We all laughed at Laplus' error, but all we did was lighten the mood a little bit. We are still destroying everything and creating laws for our dominance, but we are being a little less uptight about it.

We just need to relax more and not worry about being thrown, although I am a little concerned since I can't feel Mumei-senpai anymore. I know Lui is aware, which is why our mood has plummeted.

"We should go back to our base and look at the trackers," I suggested.

Lui nodded, but Koyori wasn't so sure about it. She didn't know why, but she had a feeling we shouldn't.

"Let's trust her intuition," Iroha said.

Lui nodded I was going to call that out, but then I remembered we aren't going to invalidate her feelings. We love Koyori, and we won't treat her like her father. We are just going to trust her and love her unconditionally.

"Maybe we should go to the base, though!" Iroha suggested

Koyori looked at her and gave it some thought: "Do you want to?" She asked

Well, I think someone should at least check the base out," Iroha said.

Koyori nodded as she pulled out a cube, placed it in the ruins of her father's institution, and snapped her fingers out. A base appeared there, and she walked in.

"Wait... how long have we had the option to do this?" Laplus asked

"Oh, forever, we just don't do it because it duplicates our base, and we don't need to do that," She said.

But the ability to take our base anywhere is kind of useful, even if it isn't the original. It could still be used, but again, we aren't going to argue with Koyori.

"Let's go get some weapons for our big speech." She laughed

Laplus smiled; she was about to get into power.
