Outside The Council Room

Kiara pov: Pomu and I decided to go out since we were back on earth and to just look around the world once again since we missed it.

"Kiara, what else have I missed in your life?" Pomu asked

"Did I tell you that Calli and I have had two kids?" I asked

"No!" Pomu shouted

"Well, there you go. Have you done anything interesting?" I asked her

"Hmmm... I became an office lady," she told me.

"Then what?" I asked

"I burned the establishment to the ground," she laughed.

"Yup, sounds like you," I laughed.

"Can you ladies help me?" A man asked us two. He seemed to be an average fifty-year-old businessman, however, he had similar energy to Omegaα.

"Yes, what do you need?" I asked

"Nice of you to ask Takanashi Kiara, I need you to disappear," the man said.

He teleported in front of me, but I summoned my shield and blocked it.

"Interesting. Have you fought a god before?" He asked

"My sister," I said.

"Wait, who is that?" The man asked

"Nanashi Mumei," I stated

He fell silent as he thought about something. "This is going to be tough," he said.

"Do you want to see something fun, Pomu?" I asked

"Yeah!" She said

I inhaled sharply, searing my lungs with flames, and exhaled fire as I charged up, powering up my sword and creating fire wings.

"Half phenoix form..." I said

"Awesome fire wings!" Pomu said

"You have amazing energy-y'know for a mere mortal?" He asked

"I'm no mortal," I corrected.

"Then I have to end you here; I have enough problems as it is when it comes to those other five," the man said.

"The other five?" I said

He began to charge up as red and black energy swarmed rapidly around him. "Pomu, back me up!" I said loudly, and she nodded as she pulled out her whip and sprouted her wings.

"A phenoix and a forest fairy are pathetic creatures that should be someone's property," the man said.

"Shut it," I growled.

I flew in and swung my blade, slicing through his entire body, and Pomu went in and whipped it a bunch of times, slicing it with wind. The body fell to the ground, smoldering.

"That was easy," Pomu said.

"No, it's not over," I told her as the body reformed.

"What the hell are you?" I asked

"Who knows?" The man said

He rushed us, kicking my shield hard enough to send me flying. Pomu flew up, but he flew up after her and made an energy blast, shooting her back to the ground.

"Well shit..." I said, as I recovered, that he appeared behind me and punched through my body. This attack felt fatal. I was in actual pain.

"W-w-what?" I coughed in agony.

"It's over," he said.

Pomu came flying in. She whipped at him, slicing half his head off, but it reattached immediately.

"This isn't going to work," I groaned.

"Time to erase you!" He said

"Pomu!" I yelled, "use your full power!"

"Wait, but won't that cut you up too?" Pomu asked

"It will, but who cares? Just do it!" I said

"I can't. I care about you too much to do that!" She said

"Don't pull this bullshit now!" I yelled

I turned around and hit him with my sword, but it didn't do anything; it didn't even cut him.

"I've had enough," he said.

Suddenly, he was slashed across the head, and I saw blood clearly.

"I've had enough as well." Mumei growled, then I saw Selen shoot past and kick the man away.

"You didn't even make it two feet..." Mumei sighed

"Tsk, I can't take a four-on-one," he growled.

"Well, more like twelve versus one or more depending on who you count as a fighter," Mumei said.

"You are so annoying," the man growled.

"Says the man who shows up uninvited and crashes our welcome party..." Mumei said

"I will be back," the man said as he vanished into the shadows.

"Are you okay?" Mumei asked

"Of course, I wasn't ready to fight, not that I was using much power, but still," I said.

"Yeah, I feel like you should have taken this more seriously," Mumei said.

"I was scared. I really was shaking in my boots," Pomu said.

"I have no clue if we even could have won, to be honest," Selen said.

"Oh, not at all. Not in our current condition, I'm completely drained," Mumei said.

"It seems like the boundary drained some of our energy," I said.

"Kiara, you are right!" Mumei said

"I am?" I said I was confused.

"Yeah, because of that, we need to figure out where that place is," I said.

"We need to know who that man was. He was looking for five girls in particular," I said.

"Wait, Suisei," Mumei said softly.

"Maybe that would add up," I said.

"Well, we can't really follow them right now." Mumei sighed

"Mumei, do you think we can get a little bit stronger just in case we run into him again?" I asked

"Well, we don't know how we compare at full power; however, that wasn't really a fight, and I'd say we can go up though." Mumei stated

"Then let's do it, Pomu, can you help me?" I asked

"Wait, shouldn't you recover first?" Pomu asked

"I'm already healed," I said.

"Then yes, I will help!" Pomu said

"Wait; that person-nevermind, ignore me," Mumei said.

Selen and Pomu went back into the council room, but Mumei stopped me, saying, "He knew where Senpai was the whole time. "

"You read his mind?" I asked

"Yup, he attacked us on purpose, but he didn't expect us to be strong enough to weaken him by a decent amount," Mumei explained.

"So we really need to prepare," I said.

"Yes, and so do our senpai," Mumei told me.

"They should be fine," I said while going into the council room.

Or at least I hoped...
