Shion pov: The four of us continued to walk ahead of Choco-sensei, and I couldn't help but feel bad for her. She has been down in the dumps ever since Botan called her out for being this way.

There is nothing I can do as her friend, and I feel awful about it.

We all agreed to help Choco-sensei, so why is it that we are nowhere close to starting to help her?

Even though we don't know what happened between her and Mel-senpai, all I know is that she is trying to cope with it. Of all the times she's kissed, one of them is because of this.

Choco-sensei clearly has a fear of abandonment and feels extreme loneliness; her entire existence requires love.

I'm a witch, so I have no idea what it would feel like to want someone and need them to stick by your side.

Even when I was mad at Aqua and kicked her out of my hut, I wasn't dead set on seeing her again. Yeah, I eventually missed her, but there was a point in time where I was happy that she hadn't come back yet.

"Choco-sensei, we should take a quick break," Aqua suggested.

Choco-sensei looked back and sighed. "Sure, we'll have a five-minute break." She said

She was clearly annoyed by this and didn't want to take a break at all.

"Mel-senpai won't go anywhere!" Ayame yelled

Choco-sensei looked at her and took offense.

"I'm leaving good luck..." She stated this as she grabbed Hakka and began to walk forward.

"Stop!" I yelled out.

Everyone just stared at me. This is the first time I've been a bit verbal and raised my voice besides screaming when things got tough.

"We are a team, right?" I asked

Choco-sensei smiled a bit and nodded, but she was still set on leaving us behind and going to save Mel-senpai

"If you go, just promise me something," I said.

"And that is?" Choco-sensei said

"Come back alive!" I shouted

Choco-sensei looked at the ground before looking me in the eyes.

"I will..." she said.

I didn't like the tone of her voice; it's as if she was going to purposely give herself up. I wanted to go with her, but I'm still exhausted.

"I can go with her!" Subaru suggested she stand up but immediately collapse. "M-my body!?" She said it with confusion.

"You came back to life; your body can't keep up; you push yourself too much, Subaru." Choco-sensei said

"Choco-sensei, you aren't going to leave!" Aqua said sternly:

Choco-sensei seemed taken aback by the tone used by Aqua; she was serious about Choco-sensei staying.

"All of you, I need to go because Mel-sama may get killed." Choco-sensei said

Ayame looked at her and mumbled something. "You need to go..." She admitted

"I need to, but if you all aren't ready, I guess I can wait." Choco-sensei said

We all looked at each other. We don't want to hold her back, but at the same time, we don't want to see her go down this path.

"Choco-sensei, what if I go with you?" Ayame asked

"Ayame-dono, you don't need to." Choco-sensei said

Ayame looked confused as Choco-sensei sat down, seemingly changing her mind about going. She seemed content with staying with us.

Choco-sensei began to talk after a minute of silence.

"Maybe we shouldn't let Mel-sama see me," she said.

We all didn't know how to even begin to talk to her about this; she keeps going back and forcing herself to see her, and then she doesn't.

Mel-senpai needs to see her again. Either Choco-sensei likes it or not, she wants to see her, and I'm sure Mel-senpai wants to see her.

"I really miss her, but I'm sure Mel-sama hates me." Choco-sensei said

"Shut up, what the hell is wrong with you, Choco-sensei? You sound like a hopeless romantic. It's not over between you two. I have no idea what happened between you two other than you two split up peacefully. You weren't dating, right?" I asked

"No..." Choco-sensei said

"Then why are you so sad?" Ayame asked

"Because Mel-sama got the wrong idea, she thought I was in love with someone else." Choco-sensei said

"You need to confront your lover; she's in love with you, and you're in love with her; let's go!" Aqua said

My heart began to beat when Aqua said that.

This is similar to what she had done; she tried to meet up with me and confront her lover. She is so cute; she knew how to talk about this.

"She is my lover, but it's been a while, so she must have fallen for someone else." Choco-sensei said

"Shut up, stop feeling sorry for yourself, bastard!" Subaru yelled

"You don't remember anything." Choco-sensei sighed

"I don't need to remember what happened to us in the past; all I need is to remember that I'm your friend and I will support you. I need you to confess to Mel-senpai!" Subaru said

"Then when I'm rejected, what the hell is left for me?" Choco-sensei screamed

"You won't trust me!" I yelled

"I don't need any of your pity; stop it!" Choco-sensei hissed

We were all riled up, the five of us clearly letting the tension get to us, but luckily we have a host to take our anger out on if needed.

"Mel-senpai wants to see you tell yourself that," Ayame said.

"I don't know..." Choco-sensei said

Aqua stood up and slapped Choco-sensei across the face.

"Wake up! This is the last time I'll tell you this: you need to confront your love; if you don't, then you'll regret it more than if you were rejected; you'll at least get closure!" She yelled

Choco-sensei smiled. "I guess you're right," she said.
