Forgetting It All

Mumei pov: "Nameless!?" Omegaα yelled

I glared at Omegaα, making sure they saw my expression. They don't seem to understand what I meant by it, and they don't know my resolve in this moment.

"My name is Nanashi Mumei." I growled

No, you're Omegaα," they claimed.

The fusion process began, and I just smiled as her arm disappeared into my shoulder, but they couldn't fuse any more.

"What is going on!?" They asked

"Rejection..." I simply stated:

I could hear my body crack more and more, and I closed my eyes. I needed to be calm, accept everything, come to terms, and forget the past.

"Mumei..." Kiara said

I snapped into a trance and looked around. I wasn't on the boundary anymore; I was around Kiara, Reine, Subaru, and Lui. I gently smiled at all of them for coming to see me.

"I didn't want to bring you closer to Omega!" Reine cried out

I looked at her sadly. "I apologize..." I told her

"Mumei-chan, didn't we promise to do things together?" Lui-nee asked

"Ah, well, I did, but my body is going to explode since it's an incomplete vessel now," I said.

"Mumei, recently we haven't had much time to talk, but don't talk like this!" Subaru-senpai screamed at me.

I glared at her in shock. This was the first time I ever heard her yell like that, but I was happy she was so concerned about me.

"You don't have to worry about me; I'll just end what I started, and then we will all be even," I said.

Kiara rushed me and decked me square in the face, grabbing my clothes and looking straight into my eyes.

"You are the fucking Guardian of Civilization; don't talk like this, like you can leave us like this!" Kiara yelled

"Can't I?" I questioned

"Where is your pride, damn it? Are you just going to give up and explode without doing anything for the future!?" She asked

"That was the plan, Kiara-senpai," I said.

I could tell Kiara was angered by my use of senpai. "Knock it off!" She hissed

"Mumei, the way you are talking isn't beautiful. I don't want to see you like this. What happened to your resolve and your desire to win?" Reine asked

"I came all the way here to save you, so don't you dare blow your load!" Lui yelled

"Can you rephrase that, please?" Subaru-senpai asked

"No, and you need to say words of encouragement!" Lui-nee retorted

"Wha-What? Why is what you said my fault now?" Subaru -senpai asked

"Bwahah, you are all funny!" I giggled.

They glared at me since that wasn't my usual laugh, but this time I wanted them to hear a different side of me.

"Everyone, thanks to you, I will stabilize," I told them.

"Wait, you can do it yourself?" Lui asked

"Possibly," She said.

"What do you mean possibly?" Subaru asked

"I only have a moment to do so, but I promise you I won't explode," I said.

I stared forward with determination as I snapped out of my trance

"I am your vessel, I am Nameless however I don't want to live that life anymore I want to live as Nanashi Mumei!" I yelled

"You want to become all defiant all of a sudden it pisses me off how much you reject me without me you wouldn't have anything!" Omegaα screamed

"Correct... but then I found Azure-Papa, Kiara, Reine, Lui, Subaru, Zeta, Selen! They all have stuck with me through thick and thin!" I yelled

"You have grown too soft!" They screamed

"I haven't grown soft at all; I just gained emotion. I'm an owl, not a heartless vessel!" I yelled

"I'm going to fuse with you again, and you are going to lose everything!" I was told

"No, I am going to do something," I said.

"Huh?" I jabbed their chest and kicked back, pulling something out. "What is that?" They asked

"This is your power. You are now a mortal." I said

"No, you can't do this to me!" Omegaα screamed

"Even though it is temporary, it is still impossible for us to get rid of you for good. However, we can seal you once again, but this time I have a better idea," I said.

"No, you are my vessel; you wouldn't betray me like this; you wouldn't do this to your parents!" They yelled

"I would..." I told them.

"Then I'll treat you like my daughter," they coldly said.

"Tsk, you should have done that from the beginning," I scoffed.

They flew at me, enraged by me, and began to rapidly punch me, but they felt like feathers to me in comparison to before.

"You are pathetic; let me seal you; we can talk later," I said.

"No, I won't let you defeat me like this!" I was yelled at.

I looked on and sighed at what she was saying, but I was caught off guard and wrapped up in a sealing chain like my father.

"Now I have you!" They laughed

They went to fuse with me, but Kiara got in the way. "Don't touch her!" She shouted

Again, you are getting in my way again, Takahashi Kiara!" They hissed

I smirked at how annoyed Omegaα clearly was. I smiled at Kiara, but she really is a blessing in disguise, a crux for me to lean on in a crisis.

Kiara, win this for me!" I shouted

She looked back at me and smiled softly, saying, "Of course!" She shouted at me.

"You expect to go back together, but I won't let that happen, you know!" They yelled

"Shut up; you wouldn't understand the bond Mumei and I share. I don't like bringing that up, but in this scenario, it's important because I won't embarrass myself again!" Kiara yelled

"If I lost to you again, I would be embarrassed!" They retorted

Yeah, I don't fucking care!" Kiara said

She grabbed her shield and sword, and fire engulfed her. She is ready for battle.
