Mumei pov: "You're too fast..." Selen panted as we landed again.

"Aww, is the poor dragon sick of losing in an air race since it's her specialty?" I sadistically asked

"Look, you're my rival, you bastard!" Selen yelled

"Usually the rival wins a few matches, though ever since we met back up, we're at six to four," I said.

Selen looked away and exhaled loudly: "I'll kick your ass in a fight!" Selen said

"You lost the last one," I said.

"That doesn't mean anything; I lost one battle, so what?" She asked

"You really are persistent. Well, I guess we are about relative in strength; otherwise, I would have discarded you," I claimed.

"Ehhh, I don't think you could discard me even if you wanted!" I pointed it out.

Mumei paused and took a deep breath as if she were going to argue with me. "I could," was all she said.

"That doesn't mean you'd want to!" I said

"Look, even an undesirable relationship is still a relationship!" I shouted

"Exactly, I'm a desirable relationship!" Selen stated

"I never said that..." I mumbled Selen laughed, and she tried to punch me, but I blocked it. "nice try..." I stated

Moona-senpai showed up and tried to talk to me, but I immediately read her mind.

"She isn't here," I stated.

"You didn't even wait to hear her question!" Ollie yelled

"And Reine isn't here. Zeta told you that I read all your minds." I said

"I don't believe you, Mumei," Anya-senpai said.

"You better..." I said.

Anya-senpai shivered due to the tone of my voice, but Moona-senpai didn't back down. "Is she here or not?" She asked more sternly.

No, but even if she was, I wouldn't let you by if she didn't want to see you guys," I said.

"It's weird because she was here. Ollie called Calli." Moona-senpai stated

"I sent Reine to the boundary because I had a bad feeling about something." I said

"That's dangerous, Mumei; you sent her all alone!" Ollie yelled

I disagree, even if I did send her there, because I trust her ability. She isn't a fighter, but she is still strong. She has skills that I can rely on. She is my older sister, after all. Ollie doesn't seem to understand the trust I have in her.

And as for the possible threat, something inside me is tingling. Omegaα may be breaking out, but that's not the problem. I have a feeling we may have to deal with some enemies that will give even me trouble, or maybe not.

"Mumei and I were trying to fight, so can you please get out of the way?" Selen asked

"No, because we know Reine is here!" Moona-senpai said

"Moona-senpai-drop it!" I said

She paused and saw the look in my eyes, taking a step back. "Sorry..." she said.

Wait, what was that? I didn't mean to get angry like that. Omegaα is closer than I thought.

Maybe I should tell Kiara that I may lose control again. No, I just won't get mad. Don't worry about her; it's easy. I just won't get mad!

It's that simple. Don't get mad, but Selen is here egging me on, and Moona-senpai won't shut up about Reine.

What can I do about this? I don't want to get mad, but can I really help that I keep saying it'll be simple, but it clearly isn't simple? I'm so frustrated.

I need to not panic. I just need to keep mooming and not let people get to me.

I sensed Reine approaching and sighed as I tried to clock into her mind and get her thoughts. I sighed and walked over to Selen. "Don't let them pass," I whispered into her ear, and then I ran over to the peafowl.

"Mumei, Kiara, and I are going to meet up with Ollie," Reine informed me.

"She's here; she's been waiting for you and looking for you," I said.

"She's here!?" Reine said in shock

I nodded Reine turned around and tried to run away. "You need to face Ollie-senpai!" I said to her:

"No, it's not that. Can you please buy me a while longer?" Reine asked

I don't even have to read her mind to tell what Reine wants. I smiled softly at her. "Can do," I replied to her.

I turned around and began to run back. I will buy as much time as possible.

"So that's the story about how I beat Mumei in our race!" Selen said boastfully:

"Fuck you, I won..." I scoffed

"Eh, Mumei, you swore?" Anya-senpai said with confusion:

"Yeah, I mean, Selen is telling lies; she usually never wins our challenges, and I'm really far ahead in our total score," I stated.

"Look, we don't bring that up!" Selen shouted

"Reine just contacted me; it turns out that she is going to come back in about an hour if you want to come back or wait here for an hour," I said.

Moona-senpai, Anya-senpai, and Ollie-senpai glared at me, but only one of them bought the lie.

"Fine, we'll wait the hour..." Moona-senpai said in resignation that she and Anya-senpai knew I wouldn't give them a choice.

"Wait, so where is Reine right now?" Ollie-senpai asked

Anya-senpai and Moona-senpai couldn't believe Ollie-senpai was seriously asking this; it's not like they couldn't all just sense Reine, all I need to do is trick Ollie, though.

"Can Selen and I fight now?" I asked

The three girls looked at me once again, then at Selen, saying, "We can't stop you." Moona-senpai said

I was going to punch Selen, but I noticed they were going to make a break for it as soon as I was distracted, so Im not going to win a fight against Selen yet.

I don't know if Reine needs an hour, but all I know is that I will buy as much time as she needs.
